DESTRUCTION IS DECREED Deut. 32, Jeremiah 8 & 9, Matthew 21:43
Isaiah 3:1-9 The Lord is about to strip Judah of every prop and support, all of their leaders, generals and counsellors will lose their positions. I shall appoint inexperienced people to positions of authority. Oppression and arrogance will stalk the Land and there will be severe shortages of food and water.
Judah is brought low, for in word and deed, they defy the Lord. The look on their faces testifies against them. Like Sodom, they parade their sins. Woe betide them, they have earned the disaster that will strike them
. Eze. 21:1-7, Amos 2:4-5

Isaiah 3:10-11 Happy are the righteous. All goes well with them. Woe to the wicked, disaster is upon them. My people, those who guide you are leading you astray.
Isaiah 3:13-26 The Lord stands up to judge His people. He opens the indictment against the elders and leaders; it is you who have ruined My vineyard. You have crushed My people and oppressed the poor.
You women of Zion; I will take away your finery, instead of coifed hair, you will be bald.
Your men will fall by the sword of the Lord, as in battle. Judah’s defences are stripped bare, laid flat to the ground.
[Isaiah 22:2 & 8…your slain did not fall by the sword, as in battle….and the mainstays of Judah’s defences are removed.]

Isaiah 4:1-2 On that Day, seven women will ask one man for help and support.
On that Day, the sprouts that the Lord has grown will become glorious in their beauty and the Land will be fruitful, the pride of the survivors in the Land.
Amos 9:13-15
[in other trans. “sprouts or plant’ is rendered ‘Branch’ and assumed to refer to Jesus, but that is wrong and the “sprouts’’, nurtured by the Lord are His righteous people, as is clear from the context.]
Isaiah 4:3-6 Those who remain in Jerusalem, whose survival was decreed, will be called holy. Isaiah 6:13, Isaiah 29:1-8, Zech. 13:8-9
When the Lord washes away the filth of Jerusalem by a spirit of judgement burning like fire, He will create a cloud by day and a flame by night over Mt Zion, to be a covering for shade and shelter. [In the same way as for ancient Israel]
Isaiah 10:17-23 The Light of Israel will become a fire, their Holy One, a flame: that in a single day will burn up and consume His enemies. Malachi 4:1&3, 2 Peter 3:7
The forests and pastures will be destroyed, only a few trees will remain. Joel 1:19-20
On that Day, the remnant of Israel, the survivors of Jacob [all 12 tribes] will set their allegiance solely on the Lord.
A remnant will return, a remnant of Jacob, will return to God, their strength.
Israel, though you are as the sands of the sea – only a remnant will return. The Lord will carry out the destruction decreed upon all of the Holy Land.

Reference, REB, NIV, KJV, some verses condensed.

Judah is judged and the entire Middle East region will be virtually depopulated by a terrible fire from the heavens and only a holy remnant will be saved. I am convinced that this Bible passage tells of events soon to happen, the coming Day of judgement onto all the world and His people; a remnant of Jacob [from all 12 tribes, plus those grafted in by reason of righteousness] going to live in all of the Promised Land, before the Return of Jesus. Ezekiel 40 to 48, Rev. 7.

We see in the prophecy of Isaiah 3:1-9; that at some future time Judah, that is: the current State of Israel, will lose its good leaders and be left in a very difficult situation, even supplies of food and water will be severely reduced. The prophet Micah also tells of this forthcoming time:
Micah 4:9-11 Why are you now crying in distress? Have you no king, no counsellors left, that you are seized with anguish, like that of a woman in labour?
Daughter of Zion; endure pain and shout like a woman in labour, for soon you must go out from the Holy Land and dwell in the desert, into the godless nations until your God redeems and delivers you from your enemies.
But now, many nations are massed against My Land. They say: Let us take it over, let our eyes gloat over Zion!
But they do not know the Lord’s purpose or understand His plan, for He has gathered them like sheaves to the threshing floor. Arise, My people, for I will give you strength and power to overcome and to divide the nations. You are to dedicate the wealth of the nations to the Lord of all the earth.

Micah 5:1 But be ready for now, the siege is pressed against you, they will strike the ruler of Israel on the cheek with a rod.

In the original Hebrew, there is no break between Micah 4:11 and Micah 5:1. The early church translators made a mistake to separate Micah 5:1 from chapter 4, as is corrected in some translations.
So we see the sequence of events: For now, we and the Jews should be ready for dramatic events, as enemies surround the State of Israel and vow to ‘wipe them off the map’. Netanyahu has just been re-elected as Prime minister of Israel, he is the one with the courage and moral strength to oppose their enemies. No doubt he is well protected by security, but there are many ways for terrorists to hit their target and according to Bible prophecy, they will ‘hit him on the face with a rod’. A ‘rod’ is actually a slang term for a rifle, maybe a high powered snipers rifle, proved accurate to kill at up to 2.47km distance. [1.53 miles]
Then Israel will be in a state of turmoil and incompetent leaders will take control, making the country seem ripe for conquest and an attack will be made by all the peoples mentioned in Psalm 83, backed by nuke missiles from Iran. But the Lord will act, Isaiah 33:19-12, and instigate His judgement/punishment of fire from the sun, Isaiah 30:25-28 & 66:15-16, Malachi 4:1&3, 2 Thess. 1:7-8, that will virtually depopulate the entire Middle East region. Hab. 3:12-14, Ezekiel 30:1-5, Amos 1 & 2:4-5, Jer. 30:4-7, Zephaniah 3:8, Rev. 6:12-17
Those Messianic Jewish survivors, Isaiah 29:4, will have to camp out for a short while, Hosea 12:9, as all the Holy Land is regenerated and they are joined by their brethren, all the righteous Christians. Micah 7:11-13, Ezekiel 34:11-16 & 37, Rev 7:9

Micah 1:3-4, 5:10-15 Look! The Lord is coming from His dwelling place to trample the nations! When that Day comes, The Lord says: I shall cut off the cities, destroy all military power, remove all idols and wipe out the godless peoples in My furious vengeance and wrath, because they refused to heed the truth. Hebrews 10:27

Whenever people see the "like a woman in travail/ birth pangs" (which is in many, many passages), it is referring to the star sign of Revelation 12 where the woman is giving birth which occurs at Rosh Hashanah Sept. 2017.

In the Micah passage above, it explicitly says that she goes into the wilderness, just like the Revelation 12 passage.

This Sept 22, 2015/ Yom Kippur/ Day of Atonement should mark the the 6th seal, when the Jubilee year is announced (in fear) by the kings of the earth.

The following Nisan 1/ April 8, 2016 should begin the Jubilee year/ the Day of the Lord. This would enact the 4 judgments of God/ 1st 4 Trumpets and starts Jacob's trouble but he is saved out of it - this refers to Trumpet 5, the 1st woe, which lasts 5 months.

The 6th trumpet is the start of the "day of wrath" (Trumpet 6 lasts 1 year, 1 month, 1 day, 1 hour) and is applied to wicked "Israel". Good "Israel" is set aside, Jacob's trouble was shortened (for the elect's sake those days are shortened). (the Jubilee year and the day of wrath overlap, but are not exactly the same year).

Those 18 months, 1 day, 1 hour take us to Rosh Hashanah 2017 (by Jewish calendar terms, not the solar calendar) and the star sign where the woman is in birth pangs but hasn't given birth yet (she gives "birth" on Sept 23, 2017.)

This would seem to indicate that the bowl 6 war / Armageddon at Rosh Hashanah 2017.

Tranquil, at least you know there are dramatic events ahead.
However your guesswork of dates and mixing up of Armageddon with the Sixth Seal, is incorrect.
The Day of Atonement, Sept. 23/24 this year, may be very significant. If it is the Day of the Lord's wrath; the Sixth Seal - not an announcement but the cosmic signs and earthquakes, storms etc, fulfilment of that extensively prophesied Day, then the world will not be the same again and we who keep faithful to our God can look forward to a great future! Rev 7:9, Isaiah 66:15-21

Newsflash; Iran given approval for it's nuclear programme. This will make Psalm 7:12-16 come true; the enemy has prepared the instruments of death.....his mischief will recoil upon his own head.
Not if, but when, the confederation of Islamic nations and entities such as Hamas and Hezbollah, attack Israel in their desperate effort to overcome the humiliation of previous failed attempts to “wipe Israel off the map “- Then, the Lord will act against His enemies, Isaiah 42:14-15, in His terrible Day of vengeance and wrath against the nations. Hab. 3:12, Ezekiel 20:46-47, Zeph. 1:14-18, Rev. 6:12-17
Here is an abridged quotation of Bible verses that reveals the fates of those “evil neighbours”. Jeremiah 12:14. [Note: this judgement includes Judah, the current State of Israel. Ezekiel 21:1-7]

THE NATIONS
Psalm 83 Do not keep silent, O God, for your enemies have devised a plot against your people. Let us wipe them out as a nation, they say- Let Israel be remembered no more. Scatter them; make them as dung on the ground. As a fire rages through a forest, may they perish in disgrace.
Zechariah 12:1-9 This is the word of the Lord concerning Israel. I am about to make Jerusalem an intoxicating cup that sends all the surrounding nations reeling. Judah will be involved. On that day, when all the nations of the earth are against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock. All who try to move her will be cut to pieces. The armies of those nations will be struck with blindness and madness. Judah will praise Me on that Day and their leaders will be strong, as a burning torch among the sheaves. All the nations right and left will be consumed, while Jerusalem remains safe. Isaiah 31:5, Psalm 125, Jer. 3:17-18

Isaiah 33:10-12 Now I shall arise, says the Lord. You will be like chaff and stubble. Whole nations will be heaps of white ash, like thorns set ablaze. Matthew 3:12, Hebrews 10:27, Rev 6:12-17
Jeremiah 9:25-26 The Lord says, the time is coming when I will punish all who are circumcised only in the flesh. All those who live in the desert regions are uncircumcised in their hearts. Ezekiel 30:1-5
Ezekiel 28:26 When I execute judgement on all of Israel’s scornful neighbours, then My people will live in the Land, undisturbed. Amos 9:13-15

IRAN
Jeremiah 49:35-39 The Lord says, I shall break the bow of Elam, their chief weapon. I will bring disaster upon them, destroy their leaders and officials and scatter them around the earth.
Ezekiel 32:24 Elam is buried in Sheol, with all her people- victims of the sword. Those who spread terror in the land of the living, now bear disgrace with all those in the abyss

PALESTINIANS
Ezekiel 25:15-17 The Lord says, because the Philistines have resorted to revenge with malice in their hearts and with ancient hostility, they seek to destroy Judah. I shall stretch out My hand against them and take mighty vengeance.
Amos 1:6-8 For crime after crime of Gaza, they will have no reprieve – I shall send fire until the last of the Philistines is dead.
Zephaniah 2:4-7 At midday Gaza will be left in ruins, I will destroy you. You will be left with no inhabitants.

LEBANON
Luke 10:14 Tyre and Sidon will be judged.
Amos 1:9-10 For the sins of Tyre, I will not hold back My wrath. They ignored the brotherly alliance; therefore, I shall send fire to consume their fortresses
Zechariah 9:3-5 The word of the Lord alights on Tyre and Sidon – I will take away your possessions and the cities will be destroyed by fire.

SYRIA
Amos 1:3-5 For crime after crime of Damascus, I will grant them no reprieve. I shall send fire on their fortresses.
Jeremiah 49:23-27 News comes of a disaster, confusion and anxiety reign, they try to escape, but all her soldiers die on that day.
Isaiah 17:1-14 Damascus will cease to be a city, forever desolate. Listen - it is the thunder of vast forces, at evening all is terror, before morning all is gone. Such is the fate of our adversaries.

ARABIA
This prophecy in Jeremiah mentions King Nebuchadrezzer of Babylon attacking Kedar and Hazor. This did happen during Jeremiah’s lifetime, but not to the full extent of this prophecy:
Jeremiah 49:28-33 Arise, attack Kedar and destroy the desert peoples of the East. Your possessions will be taken. A cry of terror will go up – flee quickly away and hide in remote places. Hazor will become a desolate place forever, totally uninhabited.
Isaiah 21:13-17 An oracle concerning Arabia. You, who live in Arabia and Tema, meet the fugitives with food and water, those who flee from the sword, from the heat of the battle. Then, within a year, all of Kedar’s glory will come to an end, only a few of her soldiers will be left. [This is interesting: “meet the fugitives”, may mean those escaping from Jordan, down the Desert Highway or the old Kings Highway.]

JORDAN
Ezekiel 25:1-11 Prophesy against the Ammonites – because you exulted over the Land of Israel with spiteful contempt, I shall give you up to be plundered by the nations. I will cut you off from other peoples and exterminate you from every country. Peoples from the East will camp on your land.
Jeremiah 49:1-8 Has Israel no heirs? Why, then do Milcoms people possess the towns of Gad? Therefore a time is coming when you will hear the battle cry. Ammon will become a desolate mound, all its towns burnt to ashes.
Ezekiel 21:28-32 A sword of slaughter will flash like lightning. The visions that you have are false, advising you to bring the sword against the unbelievers, but the time of their punishment will come later. In the land of your ancestry, I will judge you, I shall hand you over to brutal men. You will be fuel for the fire and be remembered no more.
Amos 1:13-15 For crime after crime of the Ammonites, I shall grant them no reprieve, because in their greed for land, they ripped open pregnant women in Gilead. Therefore, fire will destroy Rabbah- Ammon with a whirlwind on that day. Their King will go into exile and his officers with him.

EGYPT
Isaiah 19:1-10 The Lord comes riding swiftly on a cloud, He descends on Egypt and the hearts of the Egyptians melt within them. I will stir them up against each other. They will be confused, all their plans fail. Idols and spirit mediums are useless. I shall hand Egypt over to a hard master. The Nile will dry up. Fishing, agriculture and industry will all fail.
Isaiah 19:11-16 Egypts leaders give senseless advice – the Lord has poured a spirit of confusion into them. The Egyptians will become weak and terror stricken.
Isaiah 19:17-20 Judah will bring terror to the Egyptians, even the mention of Israel will terrify them.In that day there will be 5 cities who speak the ancient language and who worship the Lord. [Coptic Christians?] Also, on that day there will be an altar and a monument to the Lord, as a witness when they cry out to Him, and He will send a deliverer to rescue them. Egypt will acknowledge and worship the Lord, He will respond to them and heal them.
Ezekiel 29:8 The Lord God says, I am bringing a sword against you. Egypt will become a desolate wasteland. For 40 years the people will be scattered among the nations. Then regathered to upper Egypt.
Ezekiel chapter 30 Alas for the day, a sword will come on Egypt, by the hand of foreigners, I shall lay waste to the land of Egypt.
Ezekiel chapter 31 The pride of Pharaoh, the leader of Egypt, is cut down.
Ezekiel chapter 32 Many peoples will be appalled at the fate of Egypt, the cattle destroyed, the land laid waste and empty.

Modern place names from Strongs Concordance; Elam= Persia. Now Iran. Philistines =
Palestinians. Tyre and Sidon = Cities in Lebanon. Damascus = Capital of Syria. Rabbah-Ammon= Amman, capital of Jordan. Gilead = The area of North Western Jordan. Gad = the Israelite tribe given the Gilead area. Milcom= the high God of the Ammonites. Kedar & Tema= Sons of Ishmael, ancestors of the Arabs. Hazor = the area of Eastern Arabia, including Mecca and Medina.
There are other prophecies which give the fates of Edom, Moab, Assyria, etc. As the modern identity of these peoples is uncertain, I have not included them.

Keras: you should also look at Micah 4 and 5; both has good support for your assertions. About the exact timing I'm not so sure, but your general picture is correct. Israel is about to be destroyed (yet again), but it is the last time. And this final exile will be short. Micah 4 is particularly interesting. It describes a world gathered against Judah, and assertion of coming exile:

11Now many nations
are assembled against you,
saying, “Let her be defiled,
and let our eyes gaze upon Zion.”
12But they do not know
the thoughts of the Lord;
they do not understand his plan,
that he has gathered them as sheaves to the threshing floor.
13Arise and thresh,
O daughter of Zion,
for I will make your horn iron,
and I will make your hoofs bronze;
you shall beat in pieces many peoples;
and shall devote their gain to the Lord,
their wealth to the Lord of the whole earth.

This final exile is the moment where God glorifies himself through Judah -- returning is former "authority". It also a terrible judgment on those would defile Judah. That is, their victory over the current Judah, is going to end up being Judah's victory and their own defeat.

Try reading #2.
It is 'All Israel' who will gain the victory. And just who is Israel, we are told in Ephesians 2:11-18, Romans 11:13-24

re the OP's quote of 2 Pet 3. Not so fast; he was speaking of the final day of judgement and made no such reference to the middle east. it will come upon all mankind.

The prophesies in 2 Peter 3:7, 10, &12 that describe an unexpected and shocking disaster of fire from the heavens, is NOT the same as the glorious Day of the Return of Jesus. They parallel many other prophesies telling us about the terrible Day of the Lord's wrath, particularly the Sixth Seal event.
In Isaiah 34:4 as well as Rev 6:14, we see the same cosmic occurrences - the sky rolled up or dissolved and sun and moon changes. These are not what happens during the Return, as described in Rev 19:11.
That there WILL be a judgement/punishment of the nations, is well prophesied and later - 'nevertheless we, according to His promise look for new heavens and new earth, wherein dwells righteousness' 2 Peter 3:13 That will happen AFTER the Millennium reign. Rev. 21:1

That's right.

For regarding 2 Peter 3:10-13, in the day of the Lord will occur the destruction of heaven (the 1st heaven: the sky/atmosphere) and the earth (its surface) at the great white throne judgment (Revelation 20:11, Revelation 21:1). And this will be followed by the creation of a new atmosphere and surface for the earth (2 Peter 3:13, Revelation 21:1) onto which New Jerusalem, God the Father's house (John 14:2, Revelation 21:2-3), will descend from the 3rd heaven (Revelation 21:2-3).

But the day of the Lord won't immediately bring the destruction of earth's atmosphere and surface. For the day of the Lord will begin at Jesus' (never fulfilled) 2nd coming (1 Corinthians 1:7-8) as a thief (2 Peter 3:10a, Revelation 16:15). And after his 2nd coming, he will establish his kingdom physically on the earth with the physically resurrected church for 1,000 years (Revelation 19:7 to 20:6, Revelation 5:10, Revelation 2:26-29, Psalms 66:3-4, Psalms 72:8-11, Zechariah 14:3-21).

And after the 1,000 years, the Gog/Magog rebellion will occur (Revelation 20:7-10, Ezekiel chapters 38-39). And after its defeat, at least 7 more years will occur (Ezekiel 39:9b), before the earth's atmosphere and surface are destroyed at the great white throne judgment (Revelation 20:11). All of these events, from Jesus' 2nd coming to the great white throne judgment, will be part of the day of the Lord. For it is not a 24-hour day, but to God is like a 1,000-year "day" (2 Peter 3:8).

keras said in post 9:

They parallel many other prophesies telling us about the terrible Day of the Lord's wrath, particularly the Sixth Seal event.

The 6th seal (Revelation 6:12-14) could be fulfilled in our future by a huge volcanic eruption (possibly of the Yellowstone Caldera) which will occur during only the first stage of the future tribulation of Revelation chapters 6 to 18 and Matthew 24. This eruption could begin with a large earthquake (Revelation 6:12), signaling the sudden rising of magma within the volcano. When it erupts, it could shoot so much ash and smoke into the sky that the sun will appear darkened and the moon blood-red (Revelation 6:12b), like happens during large forest fires. The volcano could also shoot blobs of red-hot magma into the sky, which as they fall back down could appear like falling stars (Revelation 6:13). And it could shoot so much super-heated ash and smoke so high and so quickly into the sky that they could form a gigantic mushroom cloud which will make the sky (the 1st heaven) look like a scroll being rolled up (Revelation 6:14). Earthquakes connected with the eruption could be so large that they set off a chain reaction of other earthquakes in nearby faults and volcanoes, which could set off even more earthquakes further away, and so on, so that earthquakes will end up affecting every mountain and island, moving each of their positions at least a little bit (Revelation 6:14b).

So basically, Peter needed you to make 2 Pet 3 clear. I see.

IP, Its simple exegesis: where there are matching statements, they are talking about the same event.
Peter says: the sky will be dissolved, Rev 6:14 and Isaiah 34:4 say: the sky will roll up like a scroll. I have checked the Greek and Hebrew, they describe the same event, that is: the terrible Day of the Lord's vengeance and wrath. A Day in which the Lord will not be seen, Psalm 18:11, Hab. 3:4
It is patently wrong to combine these prophesies with the glorious Return, they don't match at all.
The Sixth Seal of Rev 6:12-17, is something that must happen before all the rest of the Seals, Trumpets and Bowls occur and after all that, comes the Return.

This is basically Hal Lindsey type stuff!!! Taking fulfilled prophecy and pushing it on this day and time.

Christians need only look at these things of past fulfillment, that shows how God deals with this world.

* We have known since Isaac and Ishamel that these nations would be at odds throughout time.

* Israel is no longer God's chosen people...the Old Covenant is not valid in ANY WAY! The chosen of God are those who have come to faith in our Lord, Jew or Gentile.

If you listen to this errant idea of prophecy you'll find yourself sadly mistaken.

Ebed and IP, still fuming and frothing at the mouth, I see.

I take no cognisance of any, so called prophecy expert. The Bible is my only guide and it has plenty to tell us about God's plans for our future. Its sheer foolishness to ignore it.

Why make an issue of who is Israel? This subject has had plenty of airing, scriptures like Romans 9:6-13 and Eph. 2:11-18 make it clear that anyone can become an Israelite, but that doesn't preclude the majority being actual descendants of Jacob, in order for God's promises to the Patriarchs to be fulfilled.

Actually, Revelation chapters 6 to 22 are chronological insofar as the future tribulation of Revelation chapters 6 to 18 will begin with the events of the 2nd through 6th seals, occurring in the order shown in Revelation 6:3-14. After the events of the 6th seal, Revelation 7 will occur. Then the 7th seal will be unsealed and out of it will come the tribulation's 7 trumpets (Revelation 8:1-6). Then the events of the first 6 trumpets in Revelation 8:7 to Revelation 9:21 will occur in the order shown there. Then Revelation 10 will occur. Then the literal 3.5 years of the Antichrist's worldwide reign will occur, which time period is shown from 4 different angles in Revelation chapters 11 to 14 (Revelation 11:2b-3, Revelation 12:6,14, Revelation 13:5,7, Revelation 14:9-13).

Then the 7th trumpet will sound, announcing the legal end of the Antichrist's reign (Revelation 11:15). Out of the 7th trumpet's heavenly-temple opening will come the 7 plagues of the 7 vials (Revelation 11:19, Revelation 15:5 to 16:1), the tribulation's final stage. Then the events of the 7 vials will occur in the order shown in Revelation 16. Jesus will return right after the 7th vial (Revelation 16:17,19, Revelation 19:2-21), and he will marry the church at that time (Revelation 19:7). Then he will defeat the world's armies (Revelation 19:11 to 20:3) and reign on the earth with the physically resurrected church for 1,000 years (Revelation 20:4-6, Revelation 5:10, Revelation 2:26-29; 1 Corinthians 15:51-53). Then the events of Revelation 20:7 to Revelation 22:5 will occur in the order shown there.

Ebed and IP, still fuming and frothing at the mouth, I see.
No. That's you Keras.
I take no cognisance of any, so called prophecy expert. The Bible is my only guide and it has plenty to tell us about God's plans for our future. Its sheer foolishness to ignore it.
No one said you did...but you're certainly in their camp because you're real close to their error.
Why make an issue of who is Israel?
Because God does...
Indeed it does!!! You simply can't see it OR won't accept it...so you'll understand much later.

Acts 13:32-33 refers to the Promise [singular] of the Messiah. This does not preclude the eventual fulfilment of His promises, [plural] of restoration of Jacob's descendants and their settlement into all of the Holy Land.

Deut. 19:8 If the Lord your God enlarges your Land, as He promised on oath to the Patriarchs......
Jeremiah 33:6-14 See this Land: it lies in ruins, inhabited by neither man or animals. Yet in this place, once more will be heard the sounds of joy and happiness, for I will restore the fortunes of My Land and people. The days are coming, says the Lord, when I shall bestow on Judah and Israel all the blessings I have promised to them.
Isaiah 30:18 The Lord is waiting to show you His favour. He yearns to have pity on you, for the Lord is full of justice. Happy are you who wait on Him.
Isaiah 54:4-10... For a passing moment I forsook you, but with tender affection I shall bring you home again....My covenant promising peace will not be shaken.
Hosea 2:14-23 But now I shall woo her and restore her vineyards. I shall betroth her to Myself, making her faithful, they will know the Lord. Israel will be My new sowing in the Land, I will show love to Israel and Judah and say to them ‘You are My people’. They will say ‘You are our God’.
Hosea 14:4-7 I shall heal My peoples apostasy and love them freely, for My anger is turned away from them. I shall be as dew to Israel that they may flower and put forth shoots. I am the tree that shelters you; your prosperity comes from Me.
Isaiah 52:6 On that Day My people will know My name and know that it is the Lord who speaks, here I am.
Ezekiel 34:22-31 Therefore, I shall save My flock and they will be ravaged no more....... You are the flock that I feed and I am your God.
Isaiah 65:24-25 Even before My people call to Me, I shall answer. Neither hurt nor harm will be done in all of My holy Land.
Zechariah 8:13-15 To the nations, you Judah and Israel have been as a curse, now I shall save you and you will become a blessing. Courage! Do not lose heart.
Isaiah 46:4 Till you grow old, I am the Lord and when white hairs come, I will carry you still. I have made you and I shall uphold you. I shall carry you away to safety.
Psalm 105:43-44 The Lord led out His people in triumph. He gave them lands of the heathen nations for their possession.
Isaiah 65:20-23 My people will build and plant for themselves, they will enjoy the fruit of their labour. They will be as long lived as a tree.
Jeremiah 31:23-28 ...The days are coming when I shall sow Israel and Judah with the seed of man and the seed of livestock. As I inflicted disasters upon them, now I shall watch over them to build and to plant.
Ezekiel 36:8-12 Now you: Land of Israel, grow your plants and bear fruit for the homecoming of My people is near. The whole House of Israel will come, very many people and you will be their possession.
Psalm 147:2-3 The Lord gathers the scattered Israelites, He heals their broken spirit and binds their wounds. He rebuilds Jerusalem.
Joel 3:18 When that Day comes the Land will be well watered and productive.
Isaiah 32:15-20 The Spirit from on high will come upon the people, then the Land will become a well watered beautiful garden; a tranquil country, its people living in peace and security.
Romans 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of the present times are not worth comparing with the glory that is going to be revealed to us.
Psalm 37:29 The righteous will possess the Land and will live there forever.
Ref: REB. Some verses abridged

Note: that Jeremiah 33:10 refers to the near future time when all the Holy Land will be desolated by the Lord's fiery Day of wrath, soon to be regenerated and all the faithful believers will go to live there.

Whatever. I mean: whatever God promised has been fulfilled in the resurrection. That's why Eph 2-3 and Gal 3-4 read as they do: they dwell on the forgiveness of sins and justification from them.

There Jer 33 passage is more intriguing than you realize. It is a prediction of the DofJ and the ongoing "Israel". Do you really think there would be much excitement about living in an actually desolated land? Hmmm. Must not be what he meant!
