George Monbiot: This cold weather is caused by – you guessed it – global warming!

Actually, you have given a straw man logical fallacy since I don't reject all scientific claims.

It might as well be.

Science is science. Unless you can falsify the data and/or show how the studies into climate change are invalid, the current model stands.

Science isn't science. Sometimes scientists are wrong. The "current model" supporting global warming is cherry-picked data. And the "consensus" is false since all the scientists who have disagreed with it were systematically weeded out.

Name the refuting data.
First tell me if the Ice Age was caused by man. The point is that the "refuting data" is the fact that global warming or weather extremes is not unprecedented in the history of the world. When the global warming scientists show us a graph they are cherry-picking the data to show less than a fraction of a percent sampling of the world's recorded climate history.

I already answered that, nobody believes the ice age was caused by man, but it does not logically follow that man cannot contribute to climate change.
The fact that the Ice Age wasn't caused by man is important because it's proof that nothing about what's going on with the planet's climate is unprecedented. Global warming believing scientists aren't proving anything if they can't prove that today's climate patterns are unprecedented.

...which is exactly what they're doing. What we're seeing in terms of rats of change do appear to be a new phenomenon. This is why our Bishops, sent by Christ's Church to guide us, as so concerned and have made so many statements on the matter. I'm a conservative and a conservationist, so I favor taking immediate steps to drastically reduce our levels of pollution. Best case, it slows the rate if climate change until we get to plan B, worst case, we polluted less and got nothing out of it but cleaner air and healthier people. All we have to loose is a little bit of money. Count me in.

Carbon monoxide is different from carbon dioxide. Carbon monoxide is the poisonous gas that is cased from burning fossil fuels. Carbon dioxide is not.

And I never claimed that belief in Global Warming is against God. (I am more than aware that the men who are Bishops in the Church have "pinned" their hopes on Global Warming being true.) I have just noted the lack of faith in God's creation and the audacity of man to think that WE can somehow be gods and effect what God has wrought.

As far as I am concerned, God does not make junk. He made the earth and we are just stewards of what He made and ordained.

C02 is the global warming gas that is changing the composition of the air we breathe. Also, there's a difference between being stewards of the earth and destroying it.

The Bible not only predicts that some will destroy it, but also warns of their destruction. Check out Revelation 11:18
