Barack Hussein Ebola has already told America that he is sending US military troops to Africa to fight against Ebola, something we should not be doing and that is clearly unconstitutional. There is no power in the Constitution that authorizes him to act on his own using the military in this fashion. Yet, politicians, instead of calling him on this constitutionally are using it politically to speak out against him before mid-term elections. Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) told Sean Hannity that he believes that America will eventually discover that Obama has secretly ''cut a deal'' with African leaders to ''bring people in'' Ebola patients to the US from Africa following the mid-term elections.

''I am authorizing the secretary of defense and the secretary of homeland security to order the selected reserve and certain members of the individual ready reserve to active duty to augment the active forces in support of Operation United Assistance, providing humanitarian assistance and consequence management related to the Ebola virus disease outbreak in the West Africa region,'' Obama wrote in a letter to House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH).

''The authorities that have been invoked will ensure the Department of Defense can properly sustain the military operations required in this effort,'' he added.

By what authority is Barack Hussein Obama making such authorization? It certainly isn't on constitutional grounds, and by that I mean that there is nothing in the US Constitution that authorizes him to do this.

We should be doing everything in our power to help sick people. I would think more Christians would be trying to help these sick people, instead of complaining about Obama sending troops to help. Also I doubt Obama really made an agreement with Africa, to send one of their sick people here, to scare people in to helping.

I wonder what James RICHARD Perry or Rafael EDWARD Cruz have to say about this?
They've made their views on the inept and uninformed policies of the administration regarding the Ebola flight quite clear. Google it. I'm sure you'll find a number of linked articles.

And neither you nor Crazy Woman have addressed the issue raised -- the constitutionality of sending troops into a non-combat arena. There certainly doesn't seem to be any authority for him to do so. Some scholars believe the Commander in Chief Clause confers expansive powers on the President, but others argue that if even if that is the case, the Constitution does not define precisely the extent of those powers. These scholars tend to construe the Clause narrowly, asserting that the Founders gave the President the title to preserve civilian supremacy over the military, not to provide additional powers outside of a Congressional authorization or declaration of war.

And just in case neither of you noticed, this isn't war. It's health care. That's what the purview of NIH and CDC.
Besides, the decision to send specialists over there was made before the new health screening measures were in place at airport if memory serves.
And ... ?? What does sending troops into the Ebola zone where nearly 4,500 of the 9,000 infected had died by the end of last week have to do with screenings at U.S. airports??

It's "certainly" not Constitutional, yet scholars don't agree about the extent of the Commander in Chief Clause.

Specialists?
Builders and logisitcs personel. There might be some medical specialists but most are there to build or equipt the expansion.

I also doubt Obama made an agreement to get ebola into the states. I guess there is conspiracy theorists at all levels. Probably the same people involved in ebola were the ones that plotted the WTC "demolision". Or is it Alien mind control? I forget.

Who needs an agreement when we already have chemtrails?

We either help over there or it will come here in greater numbers. And one country over there has it under control and there has been no cases in 6 weeks.
Yes. And it wasn't because of healthcare professionals, either. It was because they restricted travel from the Ebola zones in the West.

But that isn't "practical" for the U.S.

It has taken the effort of many individuals, and restricting travel is not the only thing to be done.

Firestone stopped it in their company town:
Firestone Did What Governments Have Not: Stopped Ebola In Its Tracks : Goats and Soda : NPR

Nigera stopped it in its tracks, mostly by doing what we are doing in our country:

Nonetheless, the fact travel restrictions prevented new infected persons from entering Nigeria, the spread of the disease was limited only to those in-country, already infected. They either recovered, or died. End of infection. From your linked Firestone article:
Currently the only Ebola cases on the sprawling, 185-square-mile plantation are in patients who come from neighboring towns.
Maybe Firestone should have instituted a travel ban of its own.
