Sorry for the long read but I wanted to get as much as I can typed out while I still remember so I could reference it for myself at a later time. I didn't get a lot of sleep last night because my son was coughing a lot (by the way, if you get a chance please pray for him) and had to move him to the living room at around 5 am because I didn't want him to wake up our infant baby.
After about an hour I was able to sleep and started dreaming. I dreamed I was in foreign soil which seemed to be an Asian country. I was in someone else's house ( I can't remember what I was doing there) but my family was with me. There was a lady that came to the house who's son was sick and offered to help her any way I can (I work in the medical field). I was able to do an assessment and reassured her and her son that they would be okay. After that my family and I left and boarded a bus. This house we were in was right next to the ocean and when I sat down I noticed that the water was an eerie red hue color. I asked the bus driver why it was that color but I don't remember what he said. As the bus started leaving a huge tsunami came upon us and the bus we were in floated away to dry pavement where we were able to drive off and escape the resurging tsunami. While in the bus I remember searching my phone trying to find any news on floods and stumbled upon a map with what seemed to be radar imaging of floods. My attention was North America (for obvious reasons) and saw that the eastern border was basically wiped out with other parts of the world showing patches of major flooding as well. We remained in the bus till I woke up. It was a horrific experience but I remembered just lifting my hands and praising Him regardless.
I guess my question would be regarding the tribulation. I've been a believer for quite some time but never really studied on the tribulation and whether or not believers will go through it (or some of it) or just be raptured before all that takes place. This past Labor Day I spoke to an uncle who graduated from bible college and we got to talk briefly about the tribulation and he told me we would not face these things that this is one of our "great hopes". I felt at peace after discussing this with him but this dream started me thinking. I understand that there's such thing as pre, post and other kinds of beliefs regarding this but just curious what is the truth?
