What the Israelis are doing is unheard of. The drop leaflets, text people and call them on the phone to forewarn of an impending attack. The Hamas response is then to tell people to stay in those buildings that are targeted. unbelievable. Wouldn't it be nice if the Palestinians called ahead to let Israelis know which buses and pizza parlors would be targeted by a suicide bomber?

It is not exactly the same, but we dropped leaflets over Hiroshima before the Atomic Bomb was dropped on August 6, 1945. There may have been other instances, but Israel is taking this to a whole new level.

It is COMPLETELY about world opinion and not about defeating the enemy. It seems to be a war crime to defend yourself if you are hated in the world. Enemies of Israel will say anything that helps them foment hatred towards the Jewish state. Any lie will do nicely when this is your goal.

could have reasonably enough foreseen the danger of such an attack to be held liable for it, a federal judge ruled Friday. Src.

paving the way for the family and survivors of that attack to sue the theater for damages.

This is almost as sick as the mass murder itself.

I still feel like that theater shooting could've been avoided if someone in the audience had shot back... maybe that's just me.

But no, it isn't the theater's fault. Or the guns' fault. Or the government's fault. The problem is James Holmes, not any of the inanimate objects involved.
