FYI for reformed folks here. The Noah movie is a great conversation starter for reformed theology. The movie portrays total depravity (including in Noah and his own family, in fact the climax of the entire film hinges on this point.) God's sovereignty is also super obvious throughout the film. God miraculously provides wives for two of Noah's sons, He starts the flood at just the worst possible time (God loves bad timing sometimes), the flood ends at the best possible time (God also LOVES doing that!), and the whole reason Noah and his family is saved the movie makes clear is not by their own merits, but His mercy.
I have no clue how all of this made it into a Hollywood movie. But I am very pleased.
