While this shows up as your statement, I said the exact same thing in another thread. Did you copy and paste?
Yep. Hence, the quote marks.

But you did not reply to the Scriptures that FG2 gave. Instead, you gave your opinion, but that is not replying to the Scriptures given."My view is that He regenerates the DEAD human spirit, which died immediately when Adam rebelled. That's why everyone is born DEAD in sins. We are spiritually DEAD. We are separated from God, which is what being DEAD means. In physical death, our soul is separated from our body. In spiritual death, a dead human spirit cannot worship God (we are separated from Him)."

2 things.Yep. Hence, the quote marks.
2 things.
First, why did you not cite the source, instead of making it look like it was your statement? Who cares about quote marks unless the source is clearly indicated?
Second, since it was just a copy and paste, why did you not provide either an agreement or disagreement with it?
OK, nice to admit there is no transparency in your posts. So really no further reason to try to have any kind of discussion.I have my own personal reasons for both.

What contradiction would that be?That's up to you. If you want to let the contradiction sit there, so be it. Oz noticed it, but thought I said it.
Calvinists have made the claim that unregenerate people hate God, and want nothing to do with Him.What contradiction would that be?
Contradiction.Calvinists have made the claim that unregenerate people hate God, and want nothing to do with Him.
They further claim that unless and until God regenerates them, which allows them to believe the gospel, they simply can't believe, nor love God.
Yet, Scripture provides two examples of unregenerate unbelievers who worshiped God.
Again you continue your bad habit of ignoring what another person writes to push your own agenda. That's why I regularly label your red herring fallacies. When you don't answer the content of another person's post, you are promoting the illogic of a red herring. So you disagree with that statement?

You have done it again with your reply to me. You have ignored the content of my post.
When will you learn to drop your use of red herring fallacies?
For some unknown reason, your posts are getting difficult to decipher. Apparently the first 3 paragraphs came from me, although you make no attempt to clarify who the words came from.Calvinists have made the claim that unregenerate people hate God, and want nothing to do with Him.

So you think the contradiction is that dead human spirits cannot worship God, yet the Bible has given 2 examples of unregenerates who did. Is that the contradiction?
How is that my contradiction? The Bible tells us that Cornelius and Lydia worshiped God. And Calvinism claims that the unregenerate hate God and want nothing to do with Him. Seems to me Calvinism has the contradiction with Scripture.
Can you defend the position that both Cornelius and Lydia were regenerate at the beginning of each story? (meaning, do it, please).
And you didn't answer my challenge.Everything I posted was from you.
You said, "In spiritual death, a dead human spirit cannot worship God (we are separated from Him)."
And now you are arguing against that? That would be a contradiction.
And you didn't answer my challenge.
This is what I said:Now you don't believe what you said?
No, I don't mean that at all.You mean you didn't have a biblical reason for saying, "In spiritual death, a dead human spirit cannot worship God (we are separated from Him)."
No, I don't mean that at all.
It was still your use of a red herring logical fallacy in your response. It wasn't even my statement.
