Vet,

Would you mind, as a courtesy, informing me the next time your god tells you to kill the unregenerate? I want to be armed.

He won't, and never has, in this dispensation.

In fact, in the one remaining dispensation, He won't either.

Not that I know of, anyway.

Here, let me clarify myself.

Thus the point of this thread; to show why unregenerates can't understand key issues, using atheists as an example.
Better?
unregenerate - adjective - 1. not reforming or showing repentance; obstinately wrong or bad. "the most unregenerate and irredeemable people you could ever imagine"

I still don't see the connection. If you can be a theist and an unregenerate, would they not be a better example?

If you are an atheist that believes God sactioned acts of genocide in the Bible, this challenge is for you.

Considering that no atheist would ever believe God sanctioned that stuff, or anything at all, because they believe God does not exist, this challenge makes no sense.

Can't you think of a new fallacy to commit? That's the third or fourth time in a row.

I believe the exercise is to think like a Christian. How to explain away biblical discrepancies.

You'd never know it by the way atheists here talk.

They talk more about God than we do.

In reality, death is inevitable, but if you are a believer, death is deserved. Do we also deserve gravity? Water being wet? Snow being cold? :)
I give up -- do we?

If you are an atheist that believes God sactioned acts of genocide in the Bible, . . .

The lack of reason and logic is strong in this one.

this challenge is for you.

Reconcile ...

Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.

... with ...

Jeremiah 18:21 Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, and pour out their blood by the force of the sword; and let their wives be bereaved of their children, and be widows; and let their men be put to death; let their young men be slain by the sword in battle.

It is up to those who believe in your god, which does not include atheists, to explain how you could worship a god who you believe to be responsible for genocide.

If God was responsible for genocide ... I promise you ... you would not even see one later on in the Bible.

In addition, there's that Catch-22 mentality you guys like to employ.

If they were to save the women, then you claim they were saved to be raped.

If they were to kill the women, then you claim it is genocide.

Your zealous false accusations are a dime a dozen.

The god of the Bible ordered both.

I don't think you understand what Catch-22 is.

All my "false accusations" have been direct quotes of the Bible. Don't blame me if you don't believe the verses I'm quoting.
