CNN couldn't find anyone in South Carolina. Only 2900 signed up in Kentucky. Only 1% of website visitors signed up in California. Who knows if anyone was able to sign up online in Iowa?

CNN Talks to 100 People in S.C. Guess How Many Were Able to Sign Up for Obamacare Online | Video | TheBlaze.com

Well for one thing the website doesn't work. I have no idea how one would sign up for it if one wanted to.

It would be a real shame if the Republicans take us to the brink on an issue that would have been derailed due to technical difficulties.

I also read reports where signups in Louisiana and Texas were virtually non-existant. You would think that three years would be enough time for them to figure out how to operate it. In typical government fashion, nothing works like they say it will.;)

And you'll be added to the rolls of "conscientious" (as far as Stockholm syndrome sufferers can be "conscientious") objectors and fined, and covered anyway! Good for you! You're costing the rest of us with your unworthy to survive illness less than you would now when you inevitably go to the hospital for treatment? OR you can just die of your illness at home as God intended
Yup I for one am willing to accept if I choose not to be covered I understand the risk of dying, Just like my stubborn self REFUSING to ever get a liver transplant if I die at 30 as a result of that decision so be it.

Or maybe they do want it. I don't think that 2 days of website crashing is going to give us accurate figures either way ^_^

Yup, that's fine. If you have a deathwish that's really none of my business. However, other more sensible people would choose life and this gives them the opportunity. You don't need to be selfish with your money just to prove a point to strangers about how little you value your own life.
Where in that post did I say I had a death wish at this time?

Because the site crashed? Seriously have you been anywhere since the internet was invented in 1995? Just go. Die in whatever manner seems fitting to you.
Are you suggesting that I commit suicide?

Not at all, but were I in your situation I would be supporting the party that supported my right NOT to be kicked off my my insurance plan. Just because "Oh you have a liver problem? Shhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaah sorry we don't cover that...that's a preexisting complication we didn't think about when you joined...thanks for all the money! Hope you don't die! Buh bye." durrrrrr
I am on medication I know that medication may or may not ruin my liver OK I also know that I will likely be on that medication maybe more for life. Why would I if something destroyed my liver that I had to keep doing it is not like alcohol where I can stop drinking. Why would I want to get another liver just to get on MORE medications the ones I am already on PLUS anti rejection medications I would be on for life when there is a limited supply of livers to go around to begin with AND since nearly half of all American adults are on daily prescriptions that means that MANY who may have WANTED to donate will not be able to do so. Thus I am really doing that so someone else will have a better shot at living, in that particular case.

Blue Cross has 54 different ACA Exchange options to consider. People signing up have a lot to consider, so why would it be expected that everybody would sign up right away. They have until Dec. 15.

Big question is how many healthy, young people are going to sign on, and how many are going to opt for the penalty?

People that need the care are motivated to plow through a few obstacles.
My guess would be a good many that do not feel they need it would rather pay the cheaper penalty.

No, no you foolish woman. Republicans would cut you off from the drugs/transplants that would keep you alive. "You cost too much" after all. You weren't meant to survive. God meant for you to die when you were a child. Why should WE have to pay to keep you alive when you should have died years ago? Hurry up and die. So those more worthy than you can live (at the cost of less money).
I understand I cost more, however the main reason I do not want a liver transplant is the reason I said above I will accept most other treatments.

The couple I know can get the Platinum coverage offered in their state at 86.00 per month premium. Just a little over 1,000 per year and that's without the subsidy for average low incomes. And the Platinum is at something like 90% coverage.
Their impressed because at one time they were paying $1000.00 per month for hardly anything.
