Well first of all, I happen yo be post-trib so of course I do not believe that the rapture will happen any time really soon ( I pray I am wrong about post-trib, but that is what I believe. In addition, we have too many un-reached people groups for it to be next week ( particularly if PRE-TRIB IS correct. While the Bible says to watch for signs of the times and He could come any time for the reasons I said I personally do not believe it will be next week ( though we are to always be ready.) I DO believe but do NOT swear to it, but I DO believe I will live to see the end time, but even to that I do not swear or claim to know without a doubt.

Yeah. And the fact is there's almost always a comet coming, so we can always have a nice comet to base our End Times predictions on. I liked Elenin a lot.

It's the scary and portentious sound of Blood Moons that make 'em important.

Four blood moons and a solar eclipse in the middle of them has only happened three times in 5,000 years, and each time they have to do with God's signs in the heavens about His people, the tribes and nation of Israel.

They always have to do with judgment on Israel's enemies and God's intervention for His namesake people, over whom He invoked His own "New Man" name, "Israel".

But they have not one thing to do as a sign for the rapture, because the rapture has no sign and can happen in 5 seconds or 5 minutes or 5 days, months or years -or any hour between now and all those -or later.

EDIT: the information that it has only happened three times in 5,000 years pertains to the four occuring on Israel's feast days, with the solar eclipse between, and major events happening in and for Israel, with judgment on Gentiles and victories for Israel.

Movies are satan's version of prophecy. Just look at "Indpendence Day" for example. The crazy peace loving earthlings welcoming the alien lasers are the Christian remnant. The kings and generals hiding in mountain bunkers are the fulfillment of Revelation 6, and the 6th Seal.

Think about it.

So yeah, if Syria is bombed and chemical weapons start flying, Yeah, pay attention. If ISON spreads poisonous cometary debris around the earth, yeah, pay attention.

It is possible that ISON is simply a sygil for Sion/Zion and that it is a signal for the appearance of the antichrist and for the rise of his kingdom and false prophet - British Israelism (Political Zionism).

No, this is a solar pole shift, and that happens every 11 years at the top of the sunspot peak. HF radio propagation is red hot right then, and you can talk from Nashville to Perth Australia on a handy talkie like they were 10 miles away. That's the goo news. The bad news for hams is that the pile-ups are terrible with ham operators jamming all the good HF frequencies trying to log as many stations as they can before the peak is over. The bad news for everyone else is that there are nasty solar storms during that period that play hob with normal radio frequency communications, and particularly anything relayed via satellite.
