Will the Rapture happen before or during 2014? Please watch this video...thoughts?

I watched the video. I don't know about 2014. A lot of people are expecting something soon: global economic collapse, natural disaster in a major city, etc. Now all this racial tension in America over one case that had nothing to do with race. I think a lot of people have had enough with the "status" today: widespread war, unemployment, unprecedented weather patterns. They want something drastic, because they want change (hence Obama's entire campaign theme: hope and change).
What I do know is that this atmosphere is necessary for the false prophet. So many people are preaching "doom is near" that we will probably bring it on ourselves. When the false prophet does arrive, performing signs and wonders (preaching a new great kingdom), most people will bow down, and faith in Jesus Christ will be abandoned by many.
It always makes me think twice. When we're in the midst of extreme suffering and praying for Jesus Christ to return, that will also be the best time for the false prophet to make his entrance and deceive as many as possible (even the elect, if it's possible). It's important to remember: when Jesus Christ does return, He will be seen very obviously by all nations, coming on the clouds of heaven, and we will know.

It is a bit of work, but it is a historical treatment of the unfaithful/harlot woman (Israel) mounted on Rome's authority to persecute Christians, as envisioned in the Rev. And then destroyed by Rome in 70 AD.

I can't really answer your question because Jesus said no one will know. We can guess and I'm sure with billions of people on the Earth someone may "accidentally" be right. Jesus gave us signs and TOLD us to watch. He wants us to be aware and not be asleep. I have been reading about the rapture for a while.. and it makes me happy and joyful. I do not worry about it but look forward to his coming. I do believe that we will see all the signs before though. When the moon is red, and the sun is darkened and we are all ruled under the antichrist.. then we will know the time is even closer.

This pretty much sums up my thoughts as well. Obviously the rapture could occur at any time but you're right: when Jesus returns it will be obvious to anyone and I've heard many great arguments for both a pre and post-trib rapture, as well as some who don't believe there will be one at all. None of us know for certain but with America continuing to collapse as a world power and the international economy still in the dumps I think the stage could be set for the antichrist to rise up and proclaim a "fix" for all of these problems.
It's fun to speculate and anticipate the Lord's return but in the meantime there is still much work to be done and we should be vigilant to continue on the path that He's laid before us.

Even people that don't believe in God believes something is going to happen soon. It's because our nation if you live in the us is borrowing money and printing money with no regard for consequences.
A video by an economist who accurately predicted the res-session.. I think everyone should watch it. Look on youtube under "The Aftershock Survival Summit. It is not Christian based but it is facts and makes sense. It's also NOT a doomsday thing either. I will warn you though he promotes his book a lot in it.

why can the rapture happen in 2014?
the gathering to Christ at His Coming (rapture to some) is at the last day, after all the signs...
its even after the resurrection of the dead
certainly after the trib.
as for the video....
I did not watch it, but after doug's expose, I don't have to.
obv. full of supposition and error, although I do like the Rev12 part
as it is obviously a star pattern on a specific date
problem is that the pattern has happened before and will again...
which date will it be?
the one that has the rest of the signs incorporated at that day
