Since you use the word "prefer" more power to you. Now I have as of yet met a chicken who wouldn't chase down a cockroach, or even a junebug. All warm blooded and some cold blooded creatures have a bit of a salty taste.
I've heard some say lamb is gamey but I only find that in the grown ones. I do know a farm raising sheep has just as an offensive odor as a pig farm. Doesn't smell like armpit to me. More like that stuff you'd rather eat than pork.
Cinnamon? Haven't tried that. Sounds good. I use tarragon or rosemary usually. I skip the mint jelly.
Yea, no need for me to step on toes, especially a grown man's toes.
Tarragon or rosemary work with lamb too, I think in general u have to use spices/herbs to get the gaminess out. Yea, the older ones taste like armpit extract. The little lambs have a bit of a gamey taste is what I meant, but I still cant tolerate it. Some people like their goats as old as time itself because the gaminess is so pungent *shivers*.
