Since you use the word "prefer" more power to you. Now I have as of yet met a chicken who wouldn't chase down a cockroach, or even a junebug. All warm blooded and some cold blooded creatures have a bit of a salty taste.
I've heard some say lamb is gamey but I only find that in the grown ones. I do know a farm raising sheep has just as an offensive odor as a pig farm. Doesn't smell like armpit to me.^_^ More like that stuff you'd rather eat than pork.;)
Cinnamon? Haven't tried that. Sounds good. I use tarragon or rosemary usually. I skip the mint jelly.

Yea, no need for me to step on toes, especially a grown man's toes.

Tarragon or rosemary work with lamb too, I think in general u have to use spices/herbs to get the gaminess out. Yea, the older ones taste like armpit extract. The little lambs have a bit of a gamey taste is what I meant, but I still cant tolerate it. Some people like their goats as old as time itself because the gaminess is so pungent *shivers*.

I would rather eat my own fecal matter fried in vasoline than eat a pork chop, bacon, belly, chitterlings - any part of a pig - fried in the most pure oil kissed by an angel.

They eat their own feces, roaches, bugs, other animal's fecal matter, mud, parasites, and they will eat you if you stand still long enough. They taste salty because their meat is toxic. It would be safer to eat the fecal matter of any vegetarian (animal or human) than it would be to eat the most organic, cleanest-fed pig in the world.
Would it be possible that pork is cured with salt?

Do you eat chicken or even veggies? Veggies are grown in the dirt. How can anything be filthier?

Well as I said before, the biology of a chicken filters toxins so that they do not (all) deposit in the meat, unlike pigs.

As for vegetable, their genome knows how to pick the nitrogen, magnesium, iron, carbon, oxygen, etc. from fertilizers (fecal or industrial) in order to supplement photosynthetic glucose manufacturing. Vegetables don't metabolise the fecal matter - as in "eat" it. Their roots pick out nutrients from fertilizer, then metabolizes what it has (and deposits the rest as waste.)

It is all about the biology. Some fish that have scales and fins eat from the bottom of the sea, but their biology works so that they do not deposit wastes in their meat. That makes them literally clean. Pigs deposit most of their toxins in their meat.

Chickens eat their own feces if they are vertically farmed, like most fast-food KFC/Churches/ETC chicken is. That is an issue on care, not metabolic processes. Swine store most of their toxins in their meat (as well as plenty of parasites, including the infamous trichina worms

Free range chickens do not necessarily eat their own fecal matter, but they are still equipped with better digestive and purifying functions than swine. Chickens do not store a majority of toxins in their meat, especially if they are free-ranged and not full of fear hormones (or antibiotics.) There is a reason why God chose certain animals as clean - regardless of what they eat. It is because 1) HE made them, and 2) He knows how they metabolize toxins, and waste. Fish with fins and scales are an example of a clean meat with excellent waste management (i.e. wastes aren't stored in the meat.)

I don't know what kind of lamb you have been eating***, or who has been making it for you, but lamb has an incredibly earthy taste - like licking the armpit of a lamb. You add spices (like cinnamon) to lamb to get rid of the gaminess, THEN you can add salt, pepper, etc. Lambs are some of the cleanest creature to eat.

Of course, grass-fed free ranged cows (that are given no rBST hormones for milk production) are also very clean. Eating mostly grass and a bit of grain, their four stomachs ensure a very clean process of nutrient absorption, and waste management.

I rarely eat meat, but when I do it is: grass-fed, free-range chicken, grass fed free ranged beef, or lamb meat from New Zealand. Other than that, I eat non-genetically modified vegetables and oils (mainly Olive oil.)

But, hey if you want to eat pork I cant and wont stop you. [I am assuming] You are grown, so you make your own choices. I prefer not to eat it - even if I was starving.
So do you hail from down under?

Hey we have a cow chip throwing contest at the fair. You sound like a great contestant and possible winner.

Absolutely, especially in the case of bacon or pork belly. Maybe not pork chops or a roast, though.

I just personally have an aversion to pork - I never really liked meat at all. I used to live in Texas, so beef ribs and chili were impossible to escape, especially at gatherings. I was always the odd child out, going straight for the corn, potato salad, and baked beans, with no ribs or brisket on my plate ^_^.

This is not a valid "reply"

Again, an invalid reply. You completely ignored the levels of holiness varied . Therefore no, what applied to one did not apply to all.

Invalid reply

I have considered it. The problem is you won't. We are done here.

Indeed, we appear to be...over.

Which of your points are valid? The one you proclaim?

Those the Lord proclaims. I only ask you to address them...so far you have ignored them.

[I love the way the Scripture is twisted.

In what way?

I provided three options for Annier and I extend them to you. If they are not valid as "health laws" then pray tell...what are they for? So far she hasn't answer and I rather doubt if you will...or can.

Please consider what you're saying.
Genesis 9:3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.
EVERY moving that that LIVETH shall be meat for you. Every moving thing that liveth. Really? Are you sure you're understanding that properly?

The question is are you? I would love to see you parse the passage for us.

In your present state of mind it would be a waste of time. It should be sufficient for you to see that you cannot, as you and Annier are trying to do, use that sentence to say all things are good to consume. When you come to terms with that I would go farther but not until then.

Good post Lollerskates. Maybe some of them will at least consider this.

:D

I have been told a few times that I wasn't in my right mind on CF...but then again, the same thing was assumed of Jesus and Paul in the NT ;) :p

Mar 3:21
His family heard about this, they went to take charge of Him,
for they said, "He is out of his mind."

Acts 26:24
At this point Festus interrupted Paul's defense. "You are out of your mind, Paul!" he shouted. "Your great learning is driving you insane."

2 Corin 5:13
If we are "out of our mind," as some say, it is for God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you.

Also as stated in the Sabbath thread, i believe the Sabbath is a privilege and not a law because Jesus said the sabbath was made for man and not man for the sabbath. It's true that if we observe and choose to live by the law Christ will profit us nothing but i think it's being taken way out of proportion now lol.
