But he does it in such a deceptive way.

The problem with Osteen is not what he says, its what he does not say. People flock to him because he makes them feel good about themselves. Never seen anyone in the bible feeling so good about themselves, it has always been about God and what he is doing for them and what they can do for him in return. The solution to the depressed lady's problem was simply to keep telling herself that she is (whatever she wants to be). That's far from the gospel.
