Too bad the purp is black and lib, had he been white and against the Obama regime, libs woulds be all over it(violent right-wingers) like white on rice.

This dude wants to clear his name by murdering people.

This guy is for gun control, well he is a sniper I guess.:sorry:
We've seen time and again how our liberal friends jump to conclusions in these situations only to be proved wrong later. Maybe someone can sneak into the perp's truck and plant a Sarah Palin book in the glove compartment so that they can save face this time.

I love these "cover-ups" that never actually cover up anything. I have a coworker that constantly tells me MSM hides things. I ask for examples and then send him dozens of MSM links from articles about things he says they don't mention.

MSM has one thing in mind. Ratings. Some have a slant (fox, ABC). Some like to put every slant they can on it and rile as many as they can (CNN, seriously, look at their comments, especially on opinion pieces. It is almost as bad as 4chan). But overall, they simply want ratings. Fox might love conservatives, but when the NRA started acting wacky, they cashed in on it. ABC might love Obama, but they won't hesitate to cover benghazi for weeks straight. They just want your attention.

You're suggesting that a populace that doesn't have guns will have more gun violence?

A populace that doesn't have guns, with a large contingent of criminals who do, such as we have here in the US of A? Oh, yeah. Much more gun violence.

I would submit that extreme liberalism is a mental illness in and of itself

It's even worse than that:

Minor traffic violations are illegal, per se.

Well, yeah---but usually cops don't put over 20 rounds through your vehicle just because you were driving with your lights off.

In the words of the old commercial, "Charlie, do you really need a bazooka to hunt ducks?"

They're out of luck, because I don't watch any of them. I browse through Yahoo and Fox online, but most of my news I get from various blogs.

Which is a growing trend, I hear; more and more people are coming to realize that the mainstream news organizations are nothing more than shills for one political organization or another, and nobody trusts them any more. I'm sure, though, that by the end of the century, when all of the MSM put together have a total of eleven people left who actually watch them, they can take comfort in their conviction that those eleven people are right, and everyone else is wrong. :)

Do you remember the frenzy back in 2011 over the Tucson shootings? The media went wild trying to pin the blame on Sarah Palin and a map. After a week or so, when it became embarrassingly clear the Loughner wasn't motivated by Sarah Palin or her map, the Narrative changed to something about "the tone" coming from the Right. Still, there was no evidence (none! zero! nada! zilch!) that Jared Loughner was motivated by anything other than his own insanity.

Another example is Brian Ross and George Stephanopolous suggesting the the Boulder theater shooter was a member of the Tea Party. They had absolutely no evidence for this, but they just threw it out there anyway. Its SOP for the media to try to link any mass killing to conservatives. Bill Sparkman, Jiverly Voong, James Von Brunn, Amy Bishop, Chris Powers, .....all these were said to have been motivated by "right-wing rhetoric".

The Media has a Narrative and they don't deviate from it.

Yes, there is a double standard at work here by the MSM.

No. Please refresh our memories, and present evidence that the media tried to pin the blame on Palin.

Thing is, we don't really know what happened. It's odd that we haven't heard of any disciplinary action against the officers involved.

They were driving in the dark with the headlights off.

ok, so there was a minor traffic violation. Back to my earlier point, Rodney King was speeding before he was savagely beaten by LA cops.

Not if you go door-to-door and round them up and melt them down for scrap and ban the sale of ammunition as well  Sure criminals will have them for a time. But most all criminals eventually get caught (you can take away their guns at the time of arrest and then have them destroyed). The ones that don't will eventually find guns useless hunks of metal. Easily done.

Instead of ranting and making it worse, can you go back and actually read the article I provided or even the exerpts - since it's clear that you didn't.

eta -Oh Dear Lord... I see you edited in two links. Did you even read those either? I ask because they both say exactly the same thing as the Salon article! The first one is a e-mail from Vin Cerf - the guy quoted in the Salon article, and the Snopes page cites him as well - supporting VP Gore's efforts to create the Internet as we know it today and not some wonky, inside communication venue for government and academia.

Oh dear, ranting?
^_^ That you're wrong isn't ranting dear. It's just proof your wrong while the rant accusation is proof you don't like that.

And I did read the articles, but thanks for implying I didnt. :) Salon is a joke. Period.
And no the other link I provided does not say exactly the same thing. Did you read?

Rodney King also attacked the police officers which, generally speaking, is a bad move.

Yes, you made you point. Extreme people do horrendous things and ideologues will wallow in the bloodshed to support their cause.

The content of this suggestion is truly insane.

Even with the implementation of this truly insane idea it would not work.

PLUS, those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it.

Starfleet Commander, you are relieved of your duty; step off the bridge.

Experts in the field say that their approach was textbook

Initially I would agree, but they didn't practice the restraint and stopped when they had Rodney King subdued and in handcuffs, that's what got the police in trouble.

But not found guilty!
Big difference.
