A National Geographic 'reality' show......Amish Mafia ....?
Greta is still on Fox. Wolf is still on CNN. He is getting ready to cover the inauguration.I can't believe people pay for TV in this day and age. I don't have cable or dish, so I don't watch any of these bozos.
Is the Greta they list for Fox Greta Van Sustren, who used to be on CNN? Does CNN still have Wolf Blitzer reporting?
Gun control and gay rights did Rosie O'Donnell in twice--in her popular daytime show and later on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
It could do in Morgan, too, if he keeps focusing on it. There are lots of issues and lots of personalities out there, and he should cover all of them.
His position on gun control makes me like him more.
Oh good lord - does Everyone have PTSD?
I don't know who Morgan is, but Rosie was rather obnoxious, I thought. I suspect her opinions had less to do with her undoing than her general demeanor did. If I'm not mistaken, Ellen is pro-gay marriage and in favor of gun restrictions, but is doing well. She's likeable. Oprah is likeable. Bill O'Reily, in spite of his shtick, is likable. It's very easy to dislike Rosie. Same for Bill Maher.
YepOh good lord - does Everyone have PTSD?
Actually it is a slap in the face of those who really suffer from PTSD. Not by you, but by those who make it the diagnosis du jour.
I am sure Rosie would have preferred not having an armed guard to protect her children. Who in the world would?
I am sure she greatly regretted that her fame and outspoken personality put her children at far greater risk than other children, and so she did what she had to do to keep them safe, as any parent would.
Like most parents, I do not believe that the presence of armed personnel in schools would make them safer. In fact I think that their presence would make children fearful and expose them to possible PTSD.
Are we not supposed to give our children roots and wings? How will they ever develop wings when, because Americans have an excessive and obsessive love affair with their guns, they have to attend school with armed guards and live in constant fear?
I know. I agree with everything you said here except Bill Maher. I do not think he's likable at all. He's a jerk. I don't know much for Bill O'Reilly. The rest I can agree with. Rosie's just obnoxious.
Yep
Even my mom's ex boyfriend. Never served a day in the military and never worked much in his life. Wasn't raped, never had any trauma and was diagnosed with "PSTD" because his ex wife left him and took his stuff.
He just wanted to get a check. He really was just lazy. No wonder he was divorced twice. Plus he sucked at life.
See above.
Both of my grandfathers actually did suffer PSTD and now everybody and their grandmother has it.
"My ex wife slapped me in the face. I have PSTD"
"I saw a police officer at my school PSTD"
Well I guess that worked at the Sandy Hook school. "No Gun Zone" no one was armed.
AT least no trauma or pstd, though....because it was a gun free zone.
My son is 5 is and is not afraid of guns. If his teacher or a staff member at his school suddenly had a gun holstered to them he would not be shaken with fear. He'd only be afraid of a gun if he thought it was going to kill him. Or he'd be afraid if he watched a friend die.
Its not like anyone would suggest that the teachers, staff or security guards constantly point a gun in the kids face when they walk through the door. Who is to say they'd even have the guns out in view of the children?
I had a security guard in the front of my school and she had a gun. I need to get a doctor to diagnose me with PTSD.
