O'bama gladly signed, with Executive Power; the worst: on March 16, 2012, Barack Obama signed an Executive Order
stating that the President (and his specifically designated Secretaries) now have the authority to commandeer all domestic U.S. resources including food and water, plus the power to seize all transportation, energy, and
infrastructure inside the United States as well as forcibly induct/draft American citizens into the military.
The EO also references harnessing American citizens to fulfill “labor requirements” for the purposes of national defense.
Not only that, but the authority claimed inside the EO does not only apply to National Emergencies and times of
war.
It also applies in peacetime. The National Defense Resources Preparedness Executive Order
EVERY aspect of life, liberty, property & human sustenance are subservient to the federal government.
If exercised in an authoritative manner, the White House could flip the switch from a free society, to totalitarianism,
using the homeland radicalization as a minimal justification. Every aspect of the Constitutional Bill of Rights could be suspended IF this Executive Order is allowed to stand.

I did think that last statement could've been amended to be much more powerful - and consistent with the overall theme of his speech. I think this would've been a better statement: "President Obama promised to begin to slow the rise of the oceans and heal the planet. MY promise... is to heal this nation, and to help you and your family."

Two of my clients are doctors and did say untold millions are lost by people not pulling the plug on the inevitably lost. It must be hard but I don't want to stay plugged in.....if I'm incapacitated just end it as soon as possible.

I'm happy that my state's governor is a Republican (Rick Snyder of Michigan)...he made it a Right To Work state recently and there was big time chaos over it too...

I dread the next governor election...hope he doesn't lose. even under an Obama admin, this state may be better to live in than other states if we have him as Governor...

Michigan here too.

Snyder has made enough enemies that I'm not convinced of his re-election chances. Nevertheless, the Right to Work thing was awesome (if not a bit of a surprise) and that alone makes it all worth it even if he ends up defeated in a re-election bid.

There was some sort of a report recently that some organization called the IRA (or was it the IRS? I can't remember) tried to get us into trouble just because we are Republicans. I'm glad they are being investigated because I think it's against the law to be persecuted against for your religion, or political party affiliation, etc.
