Question of the Hour!

Depends what you mean by "non-believer".

If it's someone who's heard the Gospel and rejects it, then I believe all of those "non-believers" do go to hell, regardless of however "good" they are.

If you are also including those who have never heard of the Gospel, never heard of Jesus, I don't think I can say that all of those people are automatically condemned. I don't believe in "purgatory", so they don't go there either. I just believe there is a different standard God uses to judge those who never had a chance to hear/accept the Gospel.

I believe that "hell" is one of the most abused words in all of the Christian faith. "Hell" is simply "where the dead are", or "the state of being dead". What people are typically referring to when they speak of "hell" is "the Lake of Fire". Not only that, but "hell", along with death, is destroyed in the Lake of Fire.

Christ also entered "hell" when He died (if "hell" is simply "where the dead are", then Christ would by necessity be "in hell" when He died). Since He is Life, hell and death could not contain Him. His very presence among the dead filled Death with Life. Thus "hell" no longer has any power over us, and death is now an avenue to deeper union with Christ and is no longer a means of separation from Him.

So why would God send someone to the Lake of Fire? Well, would they want to be anywhere else? If someone spent an entire lifetime rejecting God, would they want Him any more just because they were in His presence? 2000 years ago God was among His own people. But His presence among them only served to harden their hearts even more, and they did all they could to kill Him and rid Him from their lives. It will be no different at the judgement. People who hate God will continue to hate Him and want nothing to do with Him.

Reformationist I suggest you take a short time and read Galatians, it's very short, only six chapters, I believe.
Hopefully after you read it you may possibly realise just how silly that question you've just asked is.

I'm being very rude I know, please accept my apologies my friend. I'm sure your heart is in the right place but your faith is very badly misplaced, with possible eternal consequences.

Take my advice read Galatians.

I have read Galatians a number of times. And yes, you are being rude. Not sure why you would be rude, admit it, and apologize for being rude all in the same post. That you would post something that you acknowledge as being rude prior to actually posting it speaks of a lack of remorse. Either way, in case you have misunderstood, I did not ask the questions because I didn't know the answers. I asked them in an effort to answer the questions of the OP. If it helps, my answers to the questions of the OP are as follows (this time not in question form):

Question of the Hour:
Will God send ALL non-believers to Hell?

By their nature, non-believers have no faith in God. Faith is necessary for salvation. Apart from the merit of the salvitic work of Christ, which we access through faith, we merit only damnation. So, yes. God will send all non-believers to hell.

Salvitically, there is no such thing as "a good person who just doesn't believe in God" so your question is moot.

Hopefully that helps you better understand my position asiyreh. If not, please let me know.

God bless

Romans 1:21 For even though they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Rom. 1:28, 32 And just as they did not see fit to have God in knowledge any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.

The meaning of these verses: they did not include God in their lives.

Acts 17:27 that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us;

Acts 17:26 and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation,

Jeremiah 5:22-23
‘Now hear this, O foolish and without heart,
Who have eyes but do not see;
Who have ears but do not hear.
‘Do you not fear Me?’ declares the Lord.
‘Do you not tremble in My presence?
For I have placed the sand as a boundary for the sea,
An eternal decree, so it cannot cross over it.
Though the waves toss, yet they cannot prevail;
Though they roar, yet they cannot cross over it.
‘But this people has a stubborn and rebellious heart;
They have turned aside and departed.

Daniel 2:21 “It is He who changes the times and the epochs;
He removes kings and establishes kings;
He gives wisdom to wise men
And knowledge to knowers.

Revelation 2:23 And I will kill her children with death, and all the churches will know that I am He who searches the kidneys; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.

1 Chronicles 28:9 “As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.

The meaning of these verses: it's up to God.

How do you interpret this passage in Romans?

For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them) in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel. Romans 2:12-16

That's an interesting Scripture. I'm comparing it to the words of the Lord from the gospel of Mathew.

Mat 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
Mat 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
Mat 7:26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
Mat 7:27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Question of the Hour:

Will God send ALL non-believers to Hell?

:confused:

Say there's a good person who just doesn't believe in God, will that person go to Hell even though they were good? Would they go to the purgatory, perhaps?
If you reckon you know the answer, please reply!
God sends no one to Hell, they do it themselves. A person who never accepted Christ but knew about him, no matter how good they are and no matter how much good they do would still go to Hell because they refused the gift of Life.

All the more reason not to offend each other. Paul says not to offend anyone, Jew, Gentile or the church. Peter says honor all men. Jesus says that although offences must come, woe unto the man by which it came.
