Just pondering on this since last night. If God in the beginning created Adam and Eve to be perfect and it was to be heaven on earth before the fall, how would the human race have been created if there is going to be no sex in heaven? yet there had to of been sex in the garden of eden if we were to be created without the evil.
So in God's perfectly created world before 'sin' would God of allowed sex in the garden, yet I have been told there will be no sex in heaven.
*In Genesis the word translated as perfect-- means they didn't lack anything.
The Garden of Eden was a "foreshadow" of paradise, not paradise itself.
Adam and Eve were alive spiritually with the Lord, but when they "fell"
they weren't aware of that connection being broken (spiritual death) until God revealed it.
There was sex in the Garden of Eden-- God had decreed: "Be fruitful and multiply"...so the animals would be doing "their thing"; then God made woman for the man and both of them would be aware of the animals
"knowing" it's mate...Adam would undoubtedly "know" his mate.

The tabernacle was a foreshadow--
The tabernacle in the wilderness, during Moses' time of leading the nation of Israel, was a foreshadow of what is in heaven. The following scripture compares Christ, High Priest of the New Blood Covenant, to the Levitical priests serving in the tabernacle.
Hebrews 8:3-6 (NIV) - Every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices, and so it was
necessary for this one (Christ) also to have something to offer. (4) If he (Christ) were on earth, he would not be a priest, for there are already men who offer the gifts prescribed by the law. (5) They serve at a
sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: "See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain."
"Necessary for this one (Christ) also to have something to offer" - It was necessary for Christ to have something to offer God when He entered heaven and sat down as the High Priest of the New Blood covenant. His offering to God was His blood shed for the sins of mankind.
"If he (Christ) were on earth, he would not be a priest" - If Jesus had remained on the earth after His resurrection, He could not become the High Priest for the Jews because God had already appointed the Levitical Priesthood to offer gifts to God under the Law.
"Sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven" - The tabernacle was a sanctuary where God resided on the mercy seat (covering of the ark in the Most Holy Place). After Jesus' resurrection, the vail that separated the Most Holy Place from the Holy Place was torn in two and the mercy seat (throne of Christ) is now in heaven.
However, Christ still resides on the earth in the hearts of the Royal Priesthood of believers (church), who also form the temple of God.
