Nah, we don't really care too much that Lohan supports Romney. Just that its very telling that she doesn't support obama.

So just another thing that the obama campaign should be worried about, that even a low information voter recognizes that obama is awful.

Or, as most sensible people would think: Lindsey Lohan's opinion doesn't and shouldn't account for much. Yet, here we have conservatives all over it because....it supports their view.

Remember conservatives: Cling to anything that supports your view, even if you would normally discard it.

Some great ones are:

Obama is a Muslim
Obama was born in Kenya
Obama is the antichrist

etcetera.

Yeah, it's "telling". It's telling me that people are desperate to discredit Obama by bringing Lohan's opinion into the discussion.

Low information voters make up the base of both political parties.

Keep repeating your mantra.

Then, continue to interpret facts through a distinctly partisan lens, and pretend to be objective.

Okay come on now, give me your objective reason why I should vote for obama? I hope its something significant.

It's really odd - i'm not even much of an Obama supporter. My vote in this election is still undecided (it's decidedly NOT for Romney, but not sure i'm voiting for Obama).

However, the incessant stream of lies put forth by conservatives in this forum has me rushing to defend him (or at least discredit the garbage put forth).

As a Canadian, I can't even vote for your President. But given the unfortunate effect of US policy on my country, I am shocked and dismayed at how so many are willing to cut off their noses to spite their faces.

as for your vote, I truly wish that you had a viable multi party system. It actually has it's advantages, namely more choice. It does have it's downside (strategic voting, vote splitting) but I would think many are getting sick of the two dish menu.

Because unlike Romney, he's not proposing policies that directly contributed to the economic crisis of 2008.

Neither the Democratic or Republican party are offering solutions that will resolve the most significant problems we are facing. Romney's solutions, however, will exacerbate them, as he continues to support the failed policies that fostered our current economic climate.

I'm not (nor have i) advocated that one should vote for Obama. However, the Romney supporters on these forums have been significantly more willing to distort the truth in an effort to persuade others.

Putting forth the Lindsey Lohan endorsement of Romney as any sort of "insight" is exactly the type of partisan dishonesty i refer to. If Lohan came out to support Obama, Republicans would either a) rightfully ignore it, b) say that the "drugged out" ravings of Lohan show that only druggies/people not in their right mind support Obama or c) if brought forth by desperate Obama supporters as any sort of support for their position - would say the obvious, that Lohan's opinion isn't doesn't provide any value in this discussion. Given posters past history, i would wager on a and b responses to outnumber the c responses by conservatives in this forum.

No doubt. We have, in effect, a sham democracy. In which two parties, neither of which articulate Americans best interest, are the only viable choices. Election/campaign rules have done everything they can to squelch any candidate that isn't subservient to one of the two major parties, and, by extension, the corporate masters which almost all national level politicians are beholden to.

So you admit obama's policies hurt Canada too, interesting.
They can, yes.

However, Bushes polices have been the most damaging to our Country as your closest trading partner and Ally. Clear objective review of the candidates without the polemics, indicate that Romney would be the worse choice... for both the US and Canada as well.
