Those long, white streams of persistent, cloudy haze commonly blasted into blue skies by unmarked airplanes are not your typical contrails, says Swedish Green Party leader Pernilla Hagberg. As reported by the Swedish paper Katrineholms Kuriren, Hagberg, the first major political leader to come forward on the issue, has openly admitted that these unusual cloud trails, which fail to dissipate like normal contrails do, are actually a toxic mix of chemicals, viruses, and metals that she has collectively referred to as “chemtrails.”

According to Hagberg, the sprayings are a joint endeavor by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA), as well as the Swedish government in her own country, to modify atmospheric conditions via deliberate aerosol spraying efforts. And included in this “dangerous” mix of aerosols are various chemical components, viruses and viral fragments, and metals such as aluminum and barium, which have already been shown to be accumulating in water supplies and soils around the world. Pernilla Hagberg is not a party leader (Green Party doesn't even have leaders in the traditional sense). She is barely a regional leader and already she's been debunked by her own Green Party, both on local and state level. Not to mention being shot down by the SMHI (Swedish metrological assosiaction) who throughly destroyed her argument with scientific reason.

"Admits" is hardly the right choice of words.

"Claims" is what fits. Admitting refers to something you have done or are responisble for.

This is instead a claim and an accusation that someone else has done somethgin, and a claim made by someone who we ahve absolutely no reason to think has any knowledge that is not available to the general population.

Looks like there's a market for aluminum hats in Sweden. Better check IKEA.:cool:

Kind of hard to refute that picture in the news story, though. There is no way that cloud pattern is natural--and no way normal flight patterns would do it. Also no way that much trail could persist like that for that long--if you have seen planes write in the sky, how long does it last? You can argue the politician's credibility, you can argue what's in them, but you're going to have to claim that photo is doctored if you're going to refute the photo evidence.

You know, I might even agree with the chemtrails--if they honestly told us what was in them or even tell us they were even doing it at all.

Exactly. I guess computer trolls have nothing better to do than to ridicule their demise.

''In the past, contrails dissipated quickly, and didn't turn into a persistent blanket of haze. How many days have you watched clear skies turned solid gray by chemtrails?

Chemicals including barium salts, polymers and aluminum oxide are dispersed via aircraft, providing water droplet nucleation sites and increasing high altitude ice crystal formation, often resulting in stunning rainbows (chembows and sun dogs), and pink and green dichroism due to diffraction and refraction of light."

Numerous analyses of these chemtrails reveal high contents of barium and aluminum. I haven't read anything official regarding the purpose of these chemtrails, but evidence of their existence is undeniable. All one needs to do when they appear is put out a cup or pail and have it analyzed.

People concerned with their health should continue to press for answers and ignore the distractions of ridicule and wild speculation.

Very hard to "refute" a picture when the time, place and claim about it are not provided.

Puhleeeeeeeze. ^_^ Thank you, Art Bell.:D

It seems pretty clear that this article is the beginning of the Chemtrail as a popular internet phenomenon, as it was shortly after this article that William Thomas was invited onto Art Bell’s radio show on January 25th. It’s also very clear from the article that individual suspicions regarding contrails did not suddenly start in 1999. In fact the article dates it back to 1977 (although later version of this article change it to 1997). Of course, paranoia has been going on for a lot longer than that

We have had a track record of trying to manipulate the weather for a long time, going all the way back to dropping dry ice into clouds. That seems to me the most plausible motivation for chemtrails. In fact--if they were trying to fight global warming by, say--dropping chemical reagents which produced ozone--I would be wholeheartedly in favor of this, even if we didn't get it right the first time. I don't care whether global warming is God-made or man-made; we need to reverse it, and that has to be man-made.

My issue is the secretive nature of it. That tells me for certain that, whatever it is, that there is at least one group of people out there who do not want this happening.

Viruses huh? They control weather how, exactly? Also, which viruses?

My issue is the secretive nature of it.

Fantasy conspiracies are by definition secretive, given there is absolutely no evidence that they exist.

That tells me for certain that, whatever it is, that there is at least one group of people out there who do not want this happening.

Or it isn't happening at all.

Yes, it's all just a fantasy. That's what I fantasize about. Every day when I eat Captain Crunch for breakfast, I think, "Wouldn't life be great if there were chemtrails?" Do I fantasize about winning the lottery or having Miss Universe for a wife, or what would I do if I were President? No! I fantasize about planes leaving gas trails behind in the sky. Yup.

Looks like the OP wasn't even right with regard to it's most basic claims. How can we take any of the rest of it seriously?

I can hear my Dad singing a little ditty in the back of mind, one he used to sing when I was a kid:

"Some little bug is gonna get you some day
Some little bug will get you some way;
And then he'll call all his bug friends,
And all your earthly trouble ends;
Some little bug is gonna get you some day."

Newsflash, kids: we're all going to die. Might just as well be from chemtrails as nuclear weapons, fatty foods, car accidents, or terrorist attacks. The end result is still the same. ;)
