The problem I see is not just that religion is divided right down to individual beliefs , so is conclusively not the result of spirit baptism by God [which unites the saints in one Truth of God eventually]...
no, the main problem is that folks decide what to believe before God teaches them... so they get it wrong learning off sinners who simply cannot know... faith in sinners is faith in Satan , it has to be said , no matter how sincere seem the ministers of Satan ... they are mostly sincerely deluded as much as any sinner ...

1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

many admit they are sinners ,but pretend they are not of Satan...but sinners do commit sin, they are under Satan's control, they do abuse others with sin no matter how nice they pretend to be, and they are unacceptable to Jesus until they stop abusing and Love all folks all the time...

God is Love, so all one has to do to get God within is to Love... sin is not Loving, it is unloving abuse of others and oneself, disobedience to Jesus and God's command to Love...

sin then is all that stands between a man and his salvation , yet men pretend they can go one sinning and be saved by grace, Satan's lie , read the scripture Rom 6:1-15 :-

Romans 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

Jesus will NOT take any who are still sinning, he says so :-

Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Luke 13:27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

the very foundation of God that makes one His is to stop sinning, everyne who names the Christ as Jesus is to stop sinning ...

that is all you have to do first to find the way because if you stop sinning [as all commit to doing at water baptism] then God will baptise with His spirit to know all Truth from God, SURE, CERTAIN ,Truth from God Himself...
put in your mind [John 16:13, Heb 8:10-11]

it is YOUR choice then between Love if you want to follow Jesus and be saved , or sin following Satan's world religion [Rev 13:3-4] which says grace allows you to sin so long as you pay the sinner priest and pretend to repent every week as you continue to sin all your life abusing others...

most choose sin and are destroyed [Matt 7:13] because death frees a man from sin [Rom 6:7] ... so if you turn your nose up at God's grace , forgiveness of PAST sins when one stops sinning, then the only other way God can save you si on the other side of death , another chance to not sin and countless many take it after being freed from hell... but note that they are saved by works after death frees them from sin , not by grace, at judgement day-Rev 20:13 ... countless many later saved [Rev 7:9-10] who all were destroyed in this life [Matt 7:13] whenonly few found the way of Love...

those who abide in God don't sin any longer , those who sin do not knwo God or Jesus at all... but only a fake image of God and Jesus created by Satan [Rev 13:3-4] :-

if you are born of God then you stop sinning or will have to die to free you from sin, no early salvation then for the righteous who turn back to sin

The Truth of the new covenant is that God teaches ALL who are under grace, saints, Himself - Heb 8:10-11... so all one has to do is take water baptism seriously, STOP sinning when one says one will for water baptism... die to the old person of sin and be reborn to the happy life of Love ... then , as with Jesus after water baptism, God will baptise one to KNOW with no doubt His Truth -John 16:13..

then one knows God through Love and all that remains is to MAINTAIN Love against all Satan's temptations, so-called 'baptism of fire', the trial of Love to prove one is not kidding oneself, that one does truly and freely Love by CHOICE of Love over sin...

three baptisms then which agree as one , that God is Love... for Love si simply being ONE with everyone as God ultimately is because we are made in His image, spirit , and the spirit is one, undivided... thus all one is doing is going home to where one came from... the essence of the human being is spirit, not flesh

in the end of time [and time is created, it does end] there is nowhere else to go and the spirit cannot be destroyed, it is of God.... so why draw out the emptiness of unloving lives , God will persuade one eventually that happiness is better than the misery sin always ends up in... or let life prove it to you the very hard way ...

God will teach anyone anytime who WILL LISTEN... but God can only teach folks to Love and that is no use saying if folks prefer sin for the time being [until the consequences of sin kick in]

the tragedy for man of 'free will' is that most use it to destroy this earth and this ourselves with sin - Matt 7:13 - God cannot force anyone to Love all and live free of conflict with conscience, live without shame within , because Love MUST be given freely else it is no love at all...

I don't think 'hard' is the right word ...

God knows how few will CHOOSE freely to Love [Matt 7:14, Rev 7:3-8, Jude 1:14] in this world dominated by evil religion and politics [Rev 13:3-4]

and God knows how many like Jesus He requires to run the kingdom of Jesus as its kings and priests in the new earth, the next life...

we can work it out roughly and see , Jesus saves 144,000 saints , consider that each of these perfected in Love, images of the son of God as scripture says, no longer sinning at all, how many can they save if they are as good as Jesus at saving folks in the kingdom after the many destroyed in this earth [Matt 7:13] are all released from hell [Rev 20:13] to be judged by their works [Rev 20:13] after death frees them from sin [Rom 6:7] , not grace...

the answer is 20 billion , about the same as the number of men that ever lived... so we know 144,000 is indeed all that God requires for the power process of using the firstfruit saints of this earth to save the many later [Rev 7:9-10] ...

as for being born of the spirit, God cannot do spirit baptism until one is prepared to LISTEN ... sinners listen to Satan, not to God :-

If you live like poor, you can also works less, take simpler jobs so you can spend more effort to God.

Stop working for things that don't last. It won't profit you a bit! You might just invite God's wrath later!
