Do you regret how your life has turned out?

I do. I could have been rich and successful, especially with my connections, but I was too idealistic. Now looking back, I regret ever being idealistic and wish I had been more realistic.

Not one bit! I love everything I am, everything I will be, and everything I've gone through to get here

We don't get a trial run. This life is it! Most of us can look back and see how we could have done something better, reacted differently etc. But we can gain wisdom form our mistakes. The great news is that there are no dead end streets with God.

Yes. Mostly in moments of self-pity though.

I should have done some things differently and I should have made different choices but... meh
I am a strong believer in Romans 8:28. God will use everything for His glory.

yes and no. Worldly regrets yes (essentially irrelevant). I don't regret what has happened to lead me to my current communion with God (extremely relevant).

Yes and no. I wish I could go back and do things differently..I wish I had started looking for a job sooner, etc and got out more and didn't stay home so much..though I'm thankful for what I've accomplished already. Plus it's not too late to change things now.

I didn't have the best life through my younger days, but, it has all contributed to who I am now. There's many things to regret or say I could do differently, but it's no good to dwell on the past. It's happened, this is who I am now and thank God what He has given me.

Now, for where I am, I am currently trying to find a husband and learn Russian. I will take an unaccredited Spanish course soon, God-willing. Please pray for my success in such endeavors.

One of the common threads in Christianity and Buddhism is the understanding that desire causes misery. Regrets are strongly tied to our desires. We have tools to overcome this and learn to be content with our now.

I don't think so. I'm far from content with the state of my life right now, but I've consistently done the best I could with the resources and options I had at hand. There are more things than I can count that I wish had turned out differently, but my life isn't over yet, so I suspect it's not finished "turning out."

The thing that bothers me the most is that there are people my age that are married and have their own family and high paying jobs while I do not. Though maybe I shouldn't compare my life to theirs?

Jesus took my regret with his baptism and judged it to the cross in his body.
My life is in his hands, I am grateful with what he gives me, if it is little I will exalt it as if it's a lot.

My life has been far too uneventful for me to regret anything. Maybe some little regrets here and there, but nothing worth mentioning I guess. In sense my life has been 'a hold' for over 5 years, but that's changed...now I can move on. I'm working hard not to just jump into things but to seek the Lord and everything, in each day. There many things I'd like for my life, God's Will I won't the most though.

I'm sorry. Have you ever thought about changing things now? You know what you regret, so you know what not to do, use it as wisdom from now. Close one door and open a new one. It is never too late.

Everything has been a learning experience. The good. The bad.

If I had done anything different, I wouldn't be embarking on this journey coming up. And if all goes to pot, and that never happens, I will still be content with my life.

No, I do not. I think my life has turned out exactly as I have asked God for it to be and He has given me all that I needed and wanted. There are times when I wanted more, but waited until the right time, and times I wanted less and was given more. Times when I couldn't get through and now that I look back I found courage and strength I did not know I had. Through all of that I learned about myself, who I am, and what I can give to others. And all the mistakes have lead me here, alive and loved.
