I had some time before a meeting at work so I stopped a hospital and handed out tracts to about 15 people. They were waiting around at a couple of bus stops and some were eating lunch at some picnic tables. I prayed to the Lord how I was to use that time and this worked out. The hospital was on the way to the meeting. And all except one accepted the tracts I was handing out.

One guy asked me how many chapters I had read today. I said 6 because I had read Galatians. He had read Mark 8,9, 10

Today I pulled into a lot to do some paperwork. I noticed a couple of youths sitting nearby and thought to give them some tracts. But I said to myself I need to get this work done. The thought came back to me again to give them some tracts.

So I went over and gave them some and one said he appreciated it so much. He had J.O.E. tattooed on his cheek. He said many people think his name is Joe. But its not it means Jesus Over Everything. I was blessed to have that conversation with him.

Wow, that's really great. Thanks for sharing these stories of passing out tracts. We go passing out tracts and witnessing at the hospital every week here on my island. Of course, all our tracts are in Chuukese! We have to write them ourselves...which can be fun but challenging!

That would be work. But it would cause you to think about what you wanted to say.

Have you heard of the "Help from Above" tract? They are translated in over 100 languages. Maybe they have it in yours.

Yes they do have it in your language!

I had stopped at work location to do some paper work and a guy walked up to my truck and asked if I would call his dad. He was from the local half way house just a few blocks away. I asked him why he didn't just go back there and have them call. He was not in good relations with them, so I called for him. As he was leaving, I said that he might be interested in reading some gospel tracts while he waited for his dad. He readily accepted them.

I started the day by leaving a tract in the restroom.

Later I handed a tract to a lady talking on a cell phone sitting on a park bench. Then a business man rejected one. 2 young women also rejected tracts. Then a man rejected tracts.

I realized that I had neglected prayer for this endeavor of work for Christ. And told the Lord I would pray more for the next time.

I saw this guy about 50 and he accepted some. He said he was just walking and was homeless. I prayed for him to find a place to work. He was a Christian and was thankful that I gave him some tracts and money for coffee. His name was Dave. He talked clear with intelligence and did not seem to be on drugs or alcohol. I will continue praying for him. Maybe I'll run into him again.

Today I passed out tracts to about 15 people. The last one was to a lady that had a t-shirt advertising St. Patrick's Day parade. I pointed out to her that the parade was tomorrow. She did not know about the event and I explained that in Kansas City there is a lot of drinking. But that I don't drink and get my peace and joy in life in serving Christ and living for Him.

Today I passed out tracts to 3 people waiting at bus stops. I also left a track in a restroom.

My time passing out tracts, coffee, and hot chocolate to homeless people paid off a little today. I saw a homeless guy I have come to know at a different location. We got to talking and he shared some of his health problems. His back and leg had pains at times. I have learned that this could be a problem of the legs not being aligned. Anyway I prayed for him and his legs did stretch out to be aligned.

Keep up the good work Scott! The Word of God will reach many that you may not even be aware of. See the story at wordsoflife.co.uk/FrankJenner/FrankJenner.htm

That was a wonderful story. I am reminded of the verse in 1 Corinthians 15:58 Be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

Yesterday, there was a bar-be-cue for the homeless. They were standing in line to get some food. I went along the line and passed out tracts to about 50 people.

One guy I talked to had a diabetic seizure recently. I prayed for his healing and getting back to his home and finding a job.
