From what I can gather this publishing company wish to issue bibles to Muslims without terminology which might be deemed offensive to them.

Would this be correct?

If this is true, I find this hard to understand. Why should a book specifically aimed at Christians be modified to suit another faith? Is this an attempt to proselytize Muslims who may be considering a change of faith? Does this happen frequently, Muslim converting to Christianity?

Totally confused.

I think the point is that in Arabic-Islamic cultures there are hang-ups about father/son implying a procreative act with the mother.
