Oops. I'll try two new questions to make up for that.

What is your best quality?

What is your worst quality?

AARGH! Yikes!

My best quality... perhaps intelligence? Perserverance? Generosity? (I will lend things, usually books, but don't like lending or giving money, so is this generosity or something else?) I really don't know - nothing really stands out.

I'm pretty sure my worst one is a tendency to freak out in new situations or when I hit a setback. I'm also not overly good at teamwork because I am quite blunt; I will always say what I mean unless I realise there is a reason not to... and the warning signs of there perhaps being a reason often escape me.

Also, people can take offence when I say something and I usually have no idea why... because to me, it doesn't seem like anything anybody would be offended by. Case in point: my sister had a meal with us at an Indian restaurant and she has food allergies, some mild, some severe. After the meal, she felt ill. I said something along the lines of "I hope it's not anything really bad"... and my dad blew up at me for being negative. Sensitivity is apparently not my strong point.

Are you a music fan? If so what type or what artists do you like?

If someone gave you a yacht, what would you name her?

Okay, this silly computer just deleted my original attempt to answer these questions, so I'll try to remember what I said.

Yes, I like music. Enya, Yanni, some Dvorak, some Tchaikovsky, Tubular Bells, some ethnic music, the soundtrack to LotR... among other things. I'm also trying to like Christian music, but I'm not finding it very easy. I found one band I like some of (encounter worship) but given my dislike of most rock, most traditional (read: dull droning) hymns, and singers that either sound like they're trying to sound spiritual or have strong American accents... choice is limited. My favourite Christian music is Christmas carols, and I include Snoopy's Christmas in that - yes, I know it's far from the traditional story, but it has the right sort of theme. (I do not include "What Are We Gonna Get For 'Er Indoors" in the category even though I do very much like it - it's absurd and hilarious, particularly if you know it as well as I do and can sing both the voices.)

A yacht? No idea. My first idea was very cruel to the poor vessel - The Sunken Susan - to both have an amusing alliteration and accurately reflect my yachting capability. If I liked pink - which I don't - "The Pink Panther" is a quirky choice.

How many different kinds of church have you been to?

I've been going to the same church here in NZ since I was about ten. I'm pretty sure it's some sort of Free Brethren church, but I'm not sure exactly what it is.

I once went to an Easter service in a Catholic church in Switzerland, but it didn't exactly work out. Not only was it held at midnight, meaning I was struggling to stay awake, it was conducted partly in Latin and partly in Swiss German, neither of which I understood. Decidedly unhelpful.

Do you buy generic products or do you only buy name brands?

I don't care about name brands at all; I care more about what works/tastes good/is comfortable/has good technical support etc. The only time I take any notice of brands is when I have a bad experience with a brand... so that I know what to avoid. Unless, of course, they make it up to me with an apology/refund/replacement, in which case it's an honest mistake and usually I will return. But if they don't... the avoidance, quite literally, can last for years.

For example, I had a bad experience with the shopping basket system at amazon.com and couldn't even find their Feedback section to ask them to make it more user-friendly. Therefore, I am only just beginning to perhaps vaguely consider trying to buy from them again. It's been at least three years since the experience that put me off, but I am still wary and have very almost no trust in them whatsoever... positive reviews from others lauding their customer service is only enough to induce me to consider giving them another chance if I really want a particular item and it is absolutely nowhere else to be found for a reasonable price tag.

Once a brand loses me as a customer, unfortunately for them, I avidly stay away.

Do you skip meals?

Not usually. Sometimes I will simply not be hungry until 11am or so... but that just means that I have either a really, really late breakfast or a very big lunch.

I have been known to not eat dinner as such when the weather's horribly hot, though. Ice cream and raspberries all the way! :D

Not answering this. Sorry! I know exactly what it is, but I don't care to share it. I'm ashamed of it.

No problem. It's your choice.

If you could have more time in the day for one thing, what would it be?

*sigh* Right now, I have far too much time on my hands. The problem is actually using it all up without going stir-crazy in the process...

I'm going for a walk. Maybe that will help.

Have you ever broken a bone?

Have I ever! In slightly over twenty years, I have managed to break:
my arm
my arm (again)
my finger
my collarbone
my toe

I don't know what it is. Perhaps I'm simply preternaturally clumsy - one of those people who should never have kids lest the human race wipe itself out in one easy lesson. That's adapted from a book, by the way.

Have you ever broken a bone?
