When he was first diagnosed at 21 with motor neurone disease he was told he only had two years to live. I think he has survived for a reason,his work.

Women!

His last work on how he believes the universe came to be and how that disproves a Higher Power...being a hit and a miss would be an understatement. Still, that shouldn't disprove and discredit his earlier work, and it won't.
