Hi,

I just had a dream about seeing a map of Israel? Because I heard a narrator voice or something saying "Hosea - the land of giants". Then moving a bit further down, it said "Ephesus, this is possibly where the bible was written".

Then I think I googled Hosea inside the dream or something, because I saw a picture pop-up, with many young looking people (teenagers) sitting outside somewhere in a middle-eastern(?) country, in huge rows praying the muslim way. I knew it, because of their clothing and way of praying. Then I saw the text "Children praying".

Then I began to see floodings (many pictures of floodings), and I could see a lot of palm trees under the water, it was in a desert-like place and it was all under water, so I knew it must have been middle-east, or somewhere around there. I kept seeing more pictures, but can't remember more.

Then I ended up in a house with my cousin and someone else, and a sign on the wall pointing to the left, saying "New Testament" and one on another wall pointing to the right saying "Old testament", they were both pointing at shelves with different bibles.

Then I ended up being on very high up in a Skyscraper, gazing out over a city, and a red/orange sky, thinking "Do I have to hand out bibles to everyone?" then I think I saw a picture of a big shelve full with bibles only. Then I don't know if I thought so in the dream, or after the dream, but I thought "But, I don't have that many bibles".

Any thoughts?

You have a lot going on there. As far as the last part about the bibles this is what I see:

You said you didn't have that many bibles (or the means or supplies/support) to give to people. But in the dream shelves full of God's Word were supplied to you (by God). Consider also that you saw the middle east with people worshipping a different god. I'm not saying hop on a plane to the middle east, but have you ever considered missions? There are organizations that can send you somewhere (with experienced people) for a week or month amount of time in the mission field. I would pray about this and consider it that God may be calling you to the mission field.

God Bless

It was only one shelf full of bibles.

What's funny is that I got a whole bible (both OT&NT) like 2 weeks ago, so I don't get it, I don't know about the word so much yet but I started reading it a lot and I'm interested in it. Notice that I'm only 15 too, well 16 in december 28.

I have Asperger's syndrome, I've always thought it'd be good to be in the mission field, and I've always liked travelling. But at the same time, it's in conflict with my Asperger's syndrome, I probably wouldn't fit for it.

Also, Islam is one of the fastest growing religions in the world. Demographics studies indicate that it could soon become the dominant religion in many European countries.

Dear Jonathan,
:)
Peace be with you.
I think it's a great dream. I'm not an expert in dream interpreting. Please toss these,if they are not what the Holy spirit tells you.Don't worry if you don't know the meaning of the dream yet. Just wait on the Lord. Sometimes He gives the revelation quickly, sometimes gradually or later. I had dreams which I could never forget ( I remember them as I dreamed them yesterday), in some of these cases i got the explanation years later. The dream may be even prophetic. If it is, the Lord will tell you i the right time. Maybe until then you have to pray for those people. We often think little of praying, but the Bible says:

"The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."(James 5,16.)

Maybe you have to pray for the people there, so that they hear the gospel and turn to the Lord.If God has plans for you He will lett you know in time. We have to grow spiritually, just like a child grows up to be man. The Lord loves you. he never leaves you. He will give you growth in your christian life. He gave His word to us. If you read it and let the Holy Spirit lead you, you will get stronger in the Lord every day.

I wonder if the flood is symbolic in your dream, like an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. These may be my own thoughts though. Please pray about these.

May the Lord bless you.

I saw you were 15 so I say this to you: 1 Timothy 4:12 "Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe."

And: 2nd Corinthians 12:7-10 " 7Because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me—to keep me from exalting myself! 8Concerning this I implored the Lord three times that it might leave me. 9And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. 10Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong."

Like I said there are programs that take your age group for a week or two to the mission field with experienced missionaries. All I'm saying, don't discourage yourself and count missions out. God uses whoever He wishes, He sets aside works especially for you: Ephesians 2:10 "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them."

God uses every christian, we may not have faith in ourselves but we can have faith in Him to not overburden us.

Well, if there are such groups in Sweden, I don't know. Also, I haven't even read the whole gospel yet.

Maybe it's worth to mention, I prayed before going to sleep, for Jesus to give me a heavenly/prophetic dream, or so, that it'd be really cool to experience AGAIN.

With that insight and looking back on your dream, perhaps you should study as much as you can and wait for the opportunity, these organizations exist in the US and maybe the UK. I would keep your eyes open for the opportunity, study now and maybe consider bible college in a couple of years. I would read John(the gospel) and then 1st John to start with. If you have any questions you can always send me a PM.

If you're looking for a place to start reading, maybe you should take a look. Ephesians is a great book... Hosea might seem a little odd, but if God is directing you toward it, then you'll probably find something intriguing.

Ephesus is in western Turkey, but was part of different empires and has strong Greek influence...also a little Roman. The Goths destroyed the city and temple in AD 262 (thought you'd enjoy a little goth humor)

I always enjoy watching Marilyn Hickey's trips to Islamic countries -- she really gets people involved in what they're doing, and stretching their faith. If you don't know who she is, here's a link.

I just came from reading an article on the US upset that Iran kept one of their downed drone planes, which means they could reverse-engineer it... so when people talk about things heating up in the middle East ... Oy. Be glad you're in Sweden.
http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2011/12/12/u-s-wants-drone-back-from-iran-obama-says/

Then I began to see floodings (many pictures of floodings),
Pictures! That's interesting -- it could be propaganda, or past stories of, or something else.
I have been studying on flooding lately, and running into a lot of documentation of companies drilling underground and putting geology at risk of shifting. We all know of the underground work in the deserts.

But also, people dream of flooding symbolically for economic crisis (hrm the Middle East, I don't think so) or the power of God like water, overtaking people's lives. This would fit in with all the people praying. Many Muslims have good intent and are devout in their faith; this dream could show their devotion not waning, to what they believe is God, but a drastic shift in how they view God. Still praying, but understanding God to be a loving Heavenly Father who forgives and washes away sin and guilt.

and I could see a lot of palm trees under the water, it was in a desert-like place and it was all under water, so I knew it must have been middle-east, or somewhere around there. I kept seeing more pictures, but can't remember more.

Like a slide show? Ppt, scrapbook, or photos on a wall?

Then I ended up in a house with my cousin and someone else, and a sign on the wall pointing to the left, saying "New Testament" and one on another wall pointing to the right saying "Old testament", they were both pointing at shelves with different bibles.

There's a higher awareness of the OT/NT differences in that region, since Judaism's foundation was there.

Then I ended up being on very high up in a Skyscraper, gazing out over a city, and a red/orange sky, thinking "Do I have to hand out bibles to everyone?" then I think I saw a picture of a big shelve full with bibles only. Hm, you need a loaves and fishes prayer.

Some of us get dreams where we represent something we're connected to. Like you and Sweden, or your family, or Salvation Army. In those cases, the dream is large scale ...so the OT and NT might be something like needing missionaries to respond to the symbolic flood situation, but some with stronger OT background for Jews. Or something like that.
Lord, make it clearer to J95.

Thanks for the links I'll look into them.

What do you mean loaves and fishes prayer?

The pictures were shown as a slideshow.

Also, found this @ wikipedia:

Ephesus was an important center for Early Christianity from the AD 50s. From AD 52–54, Paul lived in Ephesus, working with the congregation and apparently organizing missionary activity into the hinterlands.

You just had a prophetic and calling dream. This is how the Lord had revealed the interpretation to me.

"My People" in the scriptures refers to the people of Israel.

"As He says also in Hosea,
“I WILL CALL THOSE WHO WERE NOT MY PEOPLE, ‘MY PEOPLE,’
AND HER WHO WAS NOT BELOVED, ‘BELOVED.
’” Romans 9:25

There will be a new movement of the Spirit that will start with the young generation. This movement will outreach those of other faith.

In the New Testament comes the new covenant grace and truth in Jesus. The gospel.

This will happen in four phases:
1) Start with the young generation among those from the middle-east.
2) Outpouring of the Holy Spirit in a great way there (flooding).
3) A church where there will be preaching of the gospel in the fullest.
4) Then He will take you to have a greater grace and will have an influence on many lives with power, redemption, wisdom, anointing and perseverance.

In this phase watch that you stay in tune with the Holy Spirit to know what to do in any circumstance.

This is a wonderful dream may God bless you.

The map I saw in the dream looked something like this one here, scroll down:

Location in Hosea | Steven Hovater's Blog

Yes, I was thinking about writing that. That those young muslims I saw were lined up, really organized. They are really strict and devout down there, so they'd have a good start with Jesus if they seek his ways I think. If you've seen videos about muslim terrorists and so, converting to Christianity. I thought maybe Jesus wants/is doing an awakening there. I've read that Islam is the worlds fastest growing religion.

Also, when I was in the skyscraper I think it was Jesus talking to me, I remember talking to someone out of the scene, and I talked too I think.

Interesting that you said that you think it was prophetic. Because I prayed to Jesus that night, that I'd be cool if I could either have a heavenly dream again/or a prophetic dream/a vision/or to be with him in my dreams.

I've had another dream about water, waves and waterfalls before, if there's a connection:

Who knows what will happen

While you were writing that, you had a pair of blue jeans on with a white top with stamped black and red letters.

You are slim and like slanting yourself backwards and putting your right leg in top of the left knee when you sit in front of the computer.
