well it probably is bogus anyway but it is the only thing that has changed lately I can think that would be related to earthquakes.... dryer earth.
Drier earth = sign of the times as well.

we have had droughts before just not this bad since the 30s. The dust bowl days of the state etc.. so was the dust bowl signs of the times back then or is a drought signs of the time now or both or neither?

I think it was just normal earth type disaster stuff that just happens. Now if we don't catch up on rain here it could affect prices on stuff worldwide as several states suffering in the drought produce foodstuffs that could go up in price. This winter hay could be expensive because the state couldn't grow hardly any of it for cattle feed and expensive feed means costlier meat products.

In the case of the Dust Bown of the '30s, so do I.

Just like Pharaoh's magicians emulated God's miracles to a point, nature can too.

God sends a drought, nature can cause a drought.

God sends an earthquake, nature can cause an earthquake.

God send a tornado, nature can cause a tornado.

But when God tells nature to take a hike for awhile (q.v. Revelation), His footstool (the earth) is going to start shaking.

Have there been any examples of God sending a drought/earthquake/tornado where nature couldn't?

2 Kings 2:1 And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal.

Job 38:1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

Ezekiel 1:4 And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.
