He doesn't have to be a "radical" (a muslim who takes the Quran seriously) to succeed in harming the Christian world. Just someone who is sympathetic to the cause.

What political fail-safes are you talking about? His administration has got another two years to go. We don't have a parliamentary system. There is no such thing as a vote of "no confidence" in America. I shudder to think about what's going to happen if he gets re-elected.

Nope, the "right of dissimulation" is ONLY a Shi'ite doctrine (almost all Sunnis believe it is unacceptable) and even among Shi'ites it is only to be used in life or death situations.

Just like all of them in the government are. We saw their true colors during this budget crisis that could have led to a shut down.

Not a single one of those people in any of the three branches said we will not accept any salary for a year. Wouldn't have been enough to keep everything running, but it would have shown they are willing to sacrifice.

Not a single one said they would do it. And none of them would have missed that income. All of them are millionaires or better already.

It is a government of the wealthy, by the wealthy and of the wealthy.
The middle class and lower class have to representation. The people in charge have no idea what it is like to live in the real world.

Your error here is assuming that the 'right of dissimulation' is simply lying. The Shi'ites allow the right only in VERY LIMITED situations and the Sunni's, generally, not at all. Given that the 11/9 pilots were Wahhabis and thus opposed on a visceral level to anything Shi'ite I fail to see how you can make the comment.
