Hey JN, well done on the lyrics analysis. I agree with most of what you say, especially this:

"Is this a part of predictive programming, aimed at the subconscious of music listeners to prepare them for a future age when “E.T.” do arrive on Earth? Is it all just a means to confuse the belief system of society’s youth?"

This might sound obsurd if you're hearing this for the first time, to some it's just a 'conspiracy' but after how much evidence does a conspiracy become fact? I'm confident there's a group of very wealthy high up people who's plan it is to do exactly that, to program us.

"I was taught that the average person would be slowly and unknowingly "edged towards" acceptance of more and more immorality and idolatry" ~ source

I used to absolutely love Katy Perry and her music until a couple of months ago when I realised that she's nothing more than a puppet. She literally signed her soul away for fame and fortune, as long as she says, dresses, and does everything that the people pulling her strings want. Her, Kesha, Lady gaga, Rihanna, all are promoting this programming. It's purely for the purose of evil.

But don't blindly take my word for it, I recommend checking this out first, and if you're interested I can show you many more instances of how much control 'they' have over the music and film industry, as well as the media.

lolz it's funny how people always think that extreme metal is the only genre filled with occult imagery and lyrics when pop and rap music is even more frighteningly occult and satanic. stupid crap if you ask me, society today

I love these blogs, they make me giggle like crazy.

I also love the video at the end with the whole "sold my soul" part which is obviously meant to be a joke, but in the good ol' Christian fashion, it gets twisted around to make your own agenda of hatred clear. Deny it all you want, but the whole point of posts like that are to make people look bad and to turn others against them, even if they are completely ignorant and reading too much into something so simple. You're no better than she is.

No, But I don't think their trying to brainwash us into worshiping alien or something stupid like that. Do you even have evidence for your baseless claims? From what I've read, no you don't.

For pete's sake people their just lyrics that are meant to be catchy to sell more CD's. I'm not into pop but this is just insanity.

Oh, I'm very familiar with Vigilant Citizen. I love that site. And you're right. At first, it definitely seems like this is the stuff of conspiracy theory but when you see artist after artist after artist doing the same symbols, imagery and satanic references, it becomes pretty clear that something it at play. It's sad but true.

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove [them]. -- Ephesians 5:11

I'm glad you brought up the video. I was deciding if I should post the longer version of it, so I'll put it here. And you can tell me if you hear her laughing or say "just kidding" or anything of the sort.

YouTube - Katy Perry Sold her soul to the devil

And the thing is, it's easy to say "it's hared." There is no hate being expressed in my blog. Where do I show I hate her? Where do I demonstrate any anger? I encourage people to pray for her. You really are just misunderstanding my points. I grew up listening to Biggie Smalls, 2Pac, Snoop Dogg and all sorts of hard core hip hop. I am not looking at this from some ivory tower. I know music of all types and listened to lots of it. But praise be to God that I can see where the music has gone. Which is right to Lucifer.

Here's another video with a number of artists proclaiming they sold their souls to the devil (Snoop Dogg even stated the same in his autobiography). So again, watch, and tell me if they're all just joking around?

And just to give more insight into this, just look up Aleister Crowley, one of the foremost Satanists of the 20th century. He wrote the Book of The Law among other things, which outlines his satanic agenda for the world, principled on his credo: "Do as thou wilt, is the whole of the law."

Here is Crowley
crowley-face.jpg

Now, the conspiracy theorists claim that this man was one of the foremost influences on the music industry, helping lead the infusion of sinful rebellion into popular music.

So let's see....

Here is Jim Morrison of the Doors on the back of the album 13:

0.jpg

There he is, with his group, sitting around a bust of Aleister Crowley.

Now let's look at the Beatles

beatles-sgt-pepper.jpg

Who is that in the upper left corner of the album?? It's Aleister Crowley. Conspiracy Theory? Well, the album was released on the 20th anniversary of his death.

And here is a quote from John Lennon:"The whole Beatle idea was to do what you want, right? To take your own responsibility, do what you want and try not to harm other people, right? DO WHAT THOU WILST, as long as it doesn't hurt somebody. . ." ("The Playboy Interviews with John Lennon and Yoko Ono", by David Sheff and G. Barry Golson, p. 61)

And here's another
Mr. Lennon: "Christianity will go, it will shrink and vanish. I will be proved right. You just wait. We are more powerful now than Jesus ever was" (San Francisco Chronicle, April 13, 1966, p.26)

Need I mention Ozzy Osbourne, who made a song called "Mr. Crowley"?? Or Led Zeppelin frontman Jimmy Paige, who not only followed Crowley's teachins, actually purchased Crowley's house and named his daughter Lillith, which was Crowley's daughter's name.

YouTube - They Sold Their Souls For Rock & Roll: Led Zeppelin Exposed

Now let's go to modern times. Rap guys from hood couldn't be into this stuff could they?

You know what? I actually bit and gace your accusations a chance.

It still makes no sense, your basing all your claims on what could be a coincidence where you have no hard hitting facts or conclusive evidence.

Is it strange? a little yeah, but a plot to control us through music? no.

Crowley? Definitley an influence on music. But how many bands do you know that don't have a theme? ACDC has a song called highway to hell, does that mean they were sent by the devil to destroy christianity? I'm 99% sure that that is a no.

It's all about image, and knowability. With something like crowley you get controversey, and with controversey comes fame, and then money.

Not everyone is dumb enough to buy into crowley's delusions, or buy into the fact that he has more power than he really had.

And what dos Crowley have to do with the accusations of a pop song being used to make people worship aliens? Let me guess, Crowley was an alien/demon and wants us to welcome the arival of the aliens/demons?

Jack Sparrow told it best when he said "You need to find a girl, mate".

Okay so now that you cannot deny that these artists were clearly influenced by a satanist, you have to raise straw man arguments. I never said anything about a "plot to control us through music." My points were clearly stated in the blog and in this thread. And you have yet to actually refute them. You're just making normative comments/opinions.

"your basing all your claims on what could b a coincidence" -- What coincidence is there? I am not saying anything is coincidence. I am saying it's absolutely purposeful.

Crowley? Definitley an influence on music. But how many bands do you know that don't have a theme? ACDC has a song called highway to hell, does that mean they were sent by the devil to destroy christianity? I'm 99% sure that that is a no.

Again, this not addressing any points I raised. You bring up a group I didn't mention and say, with no evidence that you're "99%" sure they were not sent "by the devil."

It's all about image, and knowability. With something like crowley you get controversey, and with controversey comes fame, and then money.

Right. Because Jay-Z knows all the teens in Brooklyn are going to nuts and really love him when they find out he's down with Crowley!! LOL. Are you serious? Most people have no idea who Aleister Crowley even is. To think these groups used him as a platform to their fame is ludicrous. Especially for someone like Jay-Z.

Not everyone is dumb enough to buy into crowley's delusions, or buy into the fact that he has more power than he really had.

Again, this does not change the fact that the artists I mentioned were followers of him and his satanic theology.

And what dos Crowley have to do with the accusations of a pop song being used to make people worship aliens? Let me guess, Crowley was an alien/demon and wants us to welcome the arival of the aliens/demons?
More snide remarks. No real arguments. You talk a good game when you are trying to poke holes, but you have not actually formulated any argument yourself.

What Crowley has to do with it is to show that there are strong satanic influences in the music industry. The man is revered. And there's Bob Dylan talking about his deal with the devil. There's Kanye West saying it. There's Snoop saying it. There's Eminem saying it. If all these artists are saying these things, making tribute songs to satanists and having a bust made of the guy to put on his album jacket that it should not be surprising that Katy Perry is putting occultic/Genesis 6 references in her music. You started by acting like the mere insinuation that a music star would be making any type of satanic reference was beyond outrageous. Now that I have shown you that it is in fact, 100% true and has clearly happened with some of the biggest stars of all time, you are just defaulting to basically trash talk with no real argument anymore.

Sorry if i seemed out of line, I just get tired of all the "Secular music is satanin" stuff.

You talk of crowley's line, "Do as thou wilt". We can both agree that Crowley isnt too famous amonsgt youngsters? okay. Now to someone who's like 13 that would just sound like an original and new cool phrase that snoop dog or someone made up?

I would not doubt this as much if they're was evidence of people being unfluenced by this and taking action by it. There isn't that I have heard of, or can concretly be linked.

Hey, everyone runs out of lyrics eventually. who knows where they will turn to next for inspiration.

Aleister Crowley, though an occultist, was not a Satanist.

Right, because no occultist ever professes to worship Satan outright. This is true. That's a very important point. But he was a black magic practicioner, contacted demons, made sinful rebellion the basis of his "religion", advocated animal and human sacrifice and child rape among other things and was an outspoken enemy of Christianity:

“That religion they call Christianity; the devil they honor they call God. I accept these definitions, as a poet must do, if he is to be at all intelligible to his age, and it is their God and their religion that I hate and will destroy” (Crowley, The World’s Tragedy, p. xxx).

Not to mention he also wrote a hymn honoring Satan. So while technically, one could say he was not a "satanist" it certainly permeated everything he advocated.

What I find amusing is that you cannot worship something unknowingly. To call these people satanists or anything even closely related to it is pure propaganda/gossip because 99% of the people who make comments like the ones in the video don't believe in any divine power.

Ephesians 2 1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

The Bible says the exact opposite of your statement. The Spirit of SATAN (the prince of the power of the air) works in every lost person. To the point that the Bible calls lost people the "children" of wrath. So you can indeed be under satanic influence unwittingly.

And for the record, I did not call any artist a satanist or satan worshiper. You can almost anyone involved in the occult and they almost all say they don't directly worship Satan. I said they have been influenced by satanists and put satanic/occultic imagery in their music and videos.

And when you say "99% don't believe in a divine power" what is your source for that? I would say the fruits of these artists completely establishes the opposite.
