Galatians 5:4 ----You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.

Those who want to be saved by Christ's law can not be save by God's Grace.

Galatians 3:10 ------All who rely on observing the law are under a CURSE.

Do you really want to be cursed by God.

Galatians 3:10------Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of Law.

I have some questions to those that want to be saved by observing the law. Do you obey all these laws?

1. Romans 16:16 ---Greet one another with a holy kiss. ( also in 1 Peter 5:14 )
This is a command in Christ's Law.

2. James 5:14-----is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the Church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord.
Do your elders do this or are they breaking the Law of Christ. There really are two commands: one for the sick the other for the Elders.

3. Titus 1:5 -----...appoint elders in every town.
How are Elders appointed in your Church? The only biblical way is for the Preacher to appoint them. Does your Church obey the law of Christ or do they do it there own way.

There are lots of other laws that Legalist do not obey.

I wish I could only be saved by grace alone but if I don't follow laws as if they are laws that are in society right now then I am a bad example as a Christian. So I prefer to believe in the Saved by Law since it will make us Christians a more unified society.

I'm having a hard time understanding this post. Are you saying that being a bad example makes us less unified? Are you also saying that following laws makes us a good example?

It seems impossible to me that anyone could keep the law, so everyone would be a bad example.

Thank goodness, I'm saved first to last, by the blood of Jesus, applied to me by the grace of God, through my faith in Jesus. Faith which in obedience to my Lord's request I expressed through a public confession of my faith, repentance from my sins and declaring my commitment to a covenant with my Lord through my baptism into him and his death, resurection and life.

Is believing in Christ a work?
Is confessing Christ a work?
Is repenting of sins a work?
Then neither is being baptised into Christ.

If the above are works, then how are any more works then responding at an alter call, raising a hand, praying the sinners prayer or choosing to believe in Christ?

Monergism is that God alone works, not that God alone does anything (which would maybe more truthfully called maybe "mono-kenesis"). If God is the only one that does anything then how can you have a personal relationships with God, since personal relationships require a response.

True the initiative is God's, he is the groom, the lover, the father and initiator. I am the bride, the beloved, the child and the responder to his love. But if any response to Christ I make is denied me since that would be a work then I can have no response to him. If I do not have a response how in any meaningful way can I have a relationship.

I am deeply loved by God simply for who I am, not because of any work I could do for Him. I have finally quit trying to earn His love by doing things I thought would make me more worthy of His love. - Joyce Meyer.

What I am trying to say here is that Jesus is there, waiting for anyone to open their hearts to Him and welcome Jesus in. But, due to the complexity of the individual, some individuals prefer to continue doing what they do and not doing what the Bible teaches.

Example, to be kind to people. To be merciful to people. To love people.

Certain people prefer to continue to be merciless, unkind etc... even in old age ... some people had it so good that they continue to be whatever they are and not better people.

Example, some people think they are always right and everybody else is wrong.

Or some people believe that principles comes before people.

So, they have the right (they think) to kill people because they think their victirms are 'Christian missionaries' who were actually medical doctors who were helping people.

Instead of being grateful, (to build God's kingdom), some people think they are 'right' to kill harmless human beings in cold blood (tearing down God's kingdom).

I am so sad ... tears came to my heart when I heard the news.:cry:

Anyway, Paul, who used to prosecute Christians became a great friend of Jesus. So, I hope that God will touch even the hardest heart :pray:God Bless.

GRACE GRACE GRACE!
I am saved by Grace!!! How do I know? Because my salvation is based on what HE done, not what I done. If I could have done it by myself then Jesus blood -shed was needless.
Its BECAUSE Im saved by grace that I obey the Law. The Law itself couldn't save me. If it could then God would never have sent Jesus for me..

Thank God for Grace amazing!

God's Law. All of it. Which of them shouldn't you follow?

I don't know. I don't follow the old law and I wouldn't say I follow a new law because I don't know that there is a new law. Where do you find that we are saved in order to follow the law?
