My niece showed me this. Anyone ever heard of christwire.org? I almost fell off my chair when I read an article relating rabbits "raping" cats to the moral wickedness of homosexuality.

If pets are watching their owners’ physical relations and emulating our most hardcore displays, this could lead to a crisis in the animal kingdom. As homosexuality spreads across the boundary from people to pets and now from one species to the next, how far will it go? Is it also a two-way street? Will humans start copying beastly sexual maneuvers (If they haven't already)? Will our children be affected by seeing such animalistic erotic congress, encouraged to either rape or engage in gay sex on their own? Again, these are important questions and concerned parents should take every precaution to prevent their kids from witnessing such dangerous content in the home and on the internet. Taken altogether, this crisis of rabbit rape is clearly an indication that families need to approach pet choices, particularly those involving cats, with caution and prayer.

Is this for real? Rabbits hump anything. It's a dominance and hormonal thing. It just means Floppy needs to be neutered.

This is way funnier than The Onion. :D It's gotta be a joke, right?

Dogs do it to everything in sight. Did they learn the behaivor from people?

Animals do it to other animals, when there is no one of thier species around.
Rabbits dominate?

Not an ecological disaster. Just nature "getting by with a little help from it's friends."

haha Rabbits are basically rodents. Cats are predatory felines. Cats kill rabbits! Sadly, I saw a cat run down and kill a rabbit last year.

Cats will hardly be rabbit rape victims.

Thanks for posting that. It has to be the most ridiculous thing I've read in a while.

I just got a scary-page (I'm at work) that that christwire.org page was blocked for being inappropriate.

What kind of site is it?

Pretty much Chrsitiany pr0n overlaid with a thin veneer of disapproval and snuggled up to some of the worst racism I've ever seen.

But what if it's a really big rabbit?

Well as far as whether or not it has occured that I would have to say probably yes, from what I have seen from the pet rabbit I had when I was kid let's say the males tend be "friendly", "very very friendly" with your ankle, inanimate objects..... As far as the cat's temperment goes well unusual interspeice freindships aren't unheard of I have heard of both cats and dogs raising mice and squerrils along with there own respective litters, I saw on tv cat and bird that got along so well there own start putting them in the carrier togther to go to the vet so the cat wouldn't freak out. I'm not saying it's common or anything it just doesn't seem impossible to have occur given what I have seen.
