I keep falling into sin

I'm trying my best to live for Jesus but I keep falling into sin it makes me feel God won't forgive me no more because i keep falling short of his glory..I want to be set free

If a Christian sins, it is against his will. One who is regenerate falls rather than dives into sin; he resists rather than embraces it. Any dead fish can float downstream. It takes a live one to swim against the flow. Christians still experience temptations and can sometimes fall into sin, but they are no longer slaves to sin (Romans 6:6). They have God’s Holy Spirit within them to help them say no to temptation, and to convict their conscience of wrongdoing when they do sin. The question is, when you fall into this sin, does your conscience immediately convict you and you feel godly sorrow for what you have done? Do you do everything you can to keep yourself away from temptations that may cause you to stumble? It is impossible for us as humans to turn from our sins ourselves..that is why we must first put our entire faith and trust in Christ..Repentance is a gift..Once we truly become saved we will hate our sin and want nothing to do with it so we will keep ourselves away from anything the may cause a temptation. God will forgive you for your sins if you put your faith and trust in Him and if you are truly saved you will notice yourself growing in holiness over a period of time.

We all do if we are honest about it .
Don't be too hard on yourself . You are trying your best , and that's what God sees .
Each time pray for forgiveness and grace to be free from sin .
Then stop worrying about it , and never forget that God never stops loving you .

Do you have the holy spirit? He will give you the power to live a christian life. Human effort alone can't do this.

Take one day at a time and get some inspirational friends that love God by their actions. Read the bible and pray daily. Get involved in a serious church. Its a life long lifestyle and you will know God more and more. True faith is demonstrated by actions. Feel free to email me if want.

Do not listen to the devil when he tells you that it is alright to sin. Listen to God when he tells you to repent from your sins.

I think if you do this,

all that guilt you are carrying around will leave you and the peace of well doing will come upon you.

Absolutely, well said

Jesus came to seek out the sinners, that's who He wanted to find and save. That's us.

I feel the same at times, but you have to remember that Jesus knows we are sinners and He loves us despite that - He came for just that reason!

I am in a similar boat as the OP. I've seen God work through me in amazing ways. I've seen his work in my life in many ways but I keep falling into sin sometimes.

A musician wrote - "You rise, you fall, you rise and you're down again. What doesn't kill you makes you more strong."

I feel the conviction immediately and pray for forgiveness. I know I receive it but I fall back into it another day. It's hard. VERY hard but I try and try and try.

you are in good company paul said the good i would do i do not and that which i would not do, i do.......but it is not him doing it but the sinful nature in him (which never goes away) if u want grace to abound glory in your weaknessess 2 cor 11 :30 I Glory in my Weaknesses so Grace may abound this is contrary to human nature as i feel and want to feel guilty shame etc however if we get a grasp on the breadth and depth of Grace it is when we glory in our human weaknesseses that Grace.unmerited Favor flows which is Gods way of using Mercy and Grace to Forgive heal and restore us again (and again and again and as many times to pick us up when we fall as we need..this is the amazing goodness and compassion of papa)
