The only problem with your theory is that she aligned herself with Russell, the most hated player in the game. That was her fatal mistake. Sandra on the other hand, tried to get rid of Russell and gained a lot of respect from the jury who then voted for her. She deserved to win because of that.
Well, you are obviously right, because she DID win, and I can't argue against that. I just thought Parvati played an excellent game, put herself out there, took risks and won challenges, and Sandra did none of that. Half of the jury aligned (or wanted to align) with Russell too, and Parvati DID give away two of the hidden immunity idols--one of them to Sandra.

I'm just disappointed that not enough of the jurors--and not enough of the viewers who called in--had as much respect for Parvati's game as I did.

Loved when she pulled the idol out of her bra!!! I'm glad she won over the other two!! I had read somewhere during the first couple of weeks into the season that Russell flew out to see Parvati before the show started to set up a secret alliance with her. I totally believe it!!!

Seriously? I can't believe that would be allowed in the rules. It's obvious though that she stuck by Russell's side to the end. It cost her big time. Although, doesn't the runner-up get $50,000?

I thought it was $100,000? I really don't know.

I'm kind of late in posting on this topic but I just had to add that I was thrilled when Russell didn't win. I too thought that Pavarti played a good game, but I was really happy to see Sandra get it. I think the fact that she's a military wife, and her husband was serving in Afghanistan, made her a favorite for many. Plus, she was fierce in her attempts to oust Russell. The frustration she felt every time she'd reach out to people, for a move to get rid of Russell, and then watch as they were picked off, one by one, was palpable. I got so ticked off during this season. lol It was a great one, but I spent most of it yelling at them through my tv. ;)

Can't wait for the next Survivor. It can't possibly top this one.
