A few more lies for you:

Eating the seed from inside a peach pit prevents cancer.
Animals in the wild never get cancer.
Animals in a zoo get cancer all the time.

(I swear, I could never make this stuff up.)

BTW, Native Americans hunted which dinosaurs exactly? T. Rex, Brontosaurus, Stegosaurus, Triceretops?

There are those who claim to have witnessed thunderbirds recently. Who knows, maybe they still do.

Eh, I guess they're in the same category as dinosaur sightings for me.

How can you miss something that BIG - which FLIES...

But indeed one never knows...

Teratorns are very cool (just found out about them in the last few years thanks to the Discovery Channel ).

And considering that some of them most likely did co-exist alongside humans (the last of them became extinct- as far as we know- a mere 10,000 years ago, right here in North America) it's not at all surprising that the tale of the "Thunderbird" continued to be spread.

That is almost too funny. Accredited in spelling r not them.

So is the idea that there could be such birds flapping about, but nobody knows where they nest or if they are real. Well some people will believe anything unless it makes sense.

The dinosaur challenge all over again?
The Thunderbird was/is a dinosaur well-known to the Native American Indians long before scientists showed up and said they don't exist anymore.

While scientists were busy looking down to see if human and dinosaur tracks existed on the same --- what's the word here? --- correlated layer (?), they should have been looking up.*

* To be truthful here --- (and I could be wrong about this) --- scientists have already relegated human and dinosaur co-existence to "myth status", turned out the lights and gone home.

After all, grandpa looked for some evidence 200 years ago with state-of-the-art tools, and never found any.

(At least, that's usually the answer I get here.)

It can be assumed that when someone says dinosaurs and humans never walked together, they mean non-bird dinosaurs. It's absurd to say humans and birds have never coexisted... i just ate one a few hours ago. Furthermore, Hovind does specify that he believes non-avian dinosaurs were around at the same time as humans, so your bird argument, thunderbird or not, is moot.

If birds are your best argument for humans and dinosaurs walking together, you don't have much of a case. Self-pwnage at its best.

If you're suggesting that the evidence went somewhere after grandpa missed it... or that we don't double-check the results of experiments and research conducted in the past... you're severely misinformed. Your argument is invalid.

Hovinds crime.
Since November 2006 Hovind is serving a ten-year prison sentence in the Federal Correctional Institution, Edgefield in Edgefield, South Carolina, after being convicted of 58 federal counts, including twelve tax offenses, one count of obstructing federal agents and forty-five counts of structuring cash transactions.

Does he love money more than he loves his God? he's proved he's only in religion for the money he can get out of it,
not to mention of course the adulation of the uneducated.

Judging by the number of websites and blogs calling for his release they still think he's wonderful and I guess they can't wait to give him the rest of their money.

Then Hovind aside, I'll say it:

  1. Native Americans used to hunt the Thunderbird.
  2. The Thunderbird is an avian dinosaur.
  3. Native Americans used to hunt dinosaurs.

Do you know what the 'saur' part of "dinosaur" means?
Lizard --- and before I hear, "birds aren't lizards":
Dinosaurs, contrary to what many people think, are not just big lizards. While it is true that the name dinosaur (coined by Sir Richard Owen in 1842) means "terrible lizard" in Greek, dinosaurs are quite a distinct group from lizards.
