Well come on now Ink...Ughhh, when guys start talking about action movies and beer, I thank God and rejoice in my singlehood.
I would bet money that you would like "What Dreams May Come"...its not a "typical chick flick" and its not a romantic comedy. Its a romantic drama, with beautiful art in it and also mythology.FTR I hate "chick flicks" and most romantic comedies. Gag me with stupidity.
Well come on now Ink...
It could have been Maxim magazine and beer as the topic![]()

Oh so you mean, the guys you stare at in Hollywood or the media are more godly(even tho Hollywood is far from religious), or is it because their cuter with more clothes on so it seems ok to google over them?Aw. I was cool with beer and movies but beer and [Wash my mouth edit: less than Godly] chicks? Now I have to run too.![]()
I really do find it interesting how women will morally justify looking at men in the same manner us guys look at the ladies who freely pose for Maxim magazine but yet because those ladies are half dressed, all of sudden it becomes a different "issue". Anywho tho...funny stuff to me thoI'd stay away from either type of man, and quite happily so.
I think I've seen clips of that movie. It sounds like something I might enjoy, I dunno. Maybe someday I'll see it.

It is a great movie.
Hon, I don't lay down spiritual judgements...I don't believe in spiritual judgements so how can I lay them down?Dude, seriously, don't even go there with me. I am not "morally justifying" looking at men in any kind of inappropriate manner. I don't do that. Finding an actor handsome is not undressing him or thinking lewd thoughts about him, and it's RARE that I find any actor or other celebrity handsome at all. Regardless, be very careful when you lay down any kind of spiritual judgement against someone else; that isn't your place, nor is it right.

I will call ethical double standards when I see them...I could careless who is the guilty party tho.
At least on my defense, I don't undress the models on Maxim magazine...they do it for usActually though it is my right to speak my mind in a respectful, kind, considerate manner, that abides by the rules of CF since this is the forum that I use to discuss various of topics with...which I hope I didn't derail the thread with my comment yet I couldn't let it go and I will let this go after this response(my apologies to the thread). While I'm at it, I also don't think about lewd thoughts or what I'd like to do with certain models in that mag...they are just flippin hot in their poses or even fully clothed
Yet it is funny how people will bring up moral implications(which one can do so if they want to without spiritual implications) against looking at a magazine as Maxim, yet I have seen many people here go on and on about Edward, other actors that they'd love to marry, or is just so darn handsome and cute, and yet, they/including you, seem to have a different look at men who feel morally fine to open up a magazine that has women posing in a manner that many models do, that is not sexually demeaning because the poses don't demean the idea of sexual intimacy between a man and a woman (sure some of the articles written by people may, but its a magazine, free to publish what they want and people are free to say what they say, that doesn't mean it demeans the actual act of intimacy) and I'm a type of guy to avoid?
You tell me to not make "spiritual judgements" and then you give me an implication that I'd be a guy to avoid? Touche Ink, Touche!![]()

Perhaps (not saying it is but suggesting) the difference has to do with insecurity of the woman? Or a social stereotype we've been raised with. Women assume in their head that those Maxim models is what men want, so we feel intimidated when men look at that.
However when women look at men...We think of it more as eye candy...but not so much someone we'd want to be with. Edward is more like the overly ideal guy we all know doesn't exist.
As for being on topic...
well it's too embarrassing.![]()
I am far cooler than Edward.
