I don't just believe there is a God, I know there is a God...

The bible tells us that God puts the knowledge of Him in all of us. Of course many around the world don't have access to a bible...they don't need to in order to know there is a God. Everything around us is evidence of Him.

God bless

I choose to believe there is a God, or some sort of 'higher power,' because I have experienced things-situations-that have lead me in that direction, though I fully acknowledge that I could be 100% off the mark.

On an apologetics level, I am unable to explain away the historical reliability of the Gospels, Jesus' resurrection, or the many Old Testament prophecies he fulfilled. None of that is 'proof' in the sense of "beyond a reasonable doubt" but for me it does meet the civil court standard of a "preponderance of the evidence", sufficient for me to take the proverbial "leap of faith" and decide, not as certain knowledge, but as an act of will, that God does exist, and that Jesus is Lord.

On a personal level, I've experienced small miracles and divine interventions as a result of prayer. I haven't personally seen any large miracles, but I've heard eyewitness accounts of them from people I know and trust. God has come through for me and others enough that I've come to trust Him. Not as much as I should, but more and more as I get to know Him better.

The same is true for me...looking back on alot of things that have happened to me, I believe that their is no other explaination than God giving me a helping hand.

because it works better than the big bang theory.....

there appears to be a design,....who is the designer?
there appears to be order, who is the architect?

all is in motion, who is the primary mover?
there seems to be order and interaction ; what governs it all

we look at the diversity of life...to much far too much by chance & happenstance...

I simply always have. I didn't grow up in a religious home of any kind but always knew there was a God, much to the consternation of many family members. All I can say is that it is Gods grace that explains it.
