We watch Eureka (SciFi channel) on Tuesdays and Ghosthunters on Wednesdays. Now, of course, football season is here so my husband is wrapped up in that....I watch occasionally. My guilty pleasure show is Project Runway...:)

ETA: I also enjoy watching BBC...a lot of the shows have my kind of humor.
Oh we watch Ghosthunters too  - also Paranormal State on Monday Nights.
(sometimes I turn it tho if they're doing some not so good stuff & then turn it back)

& if I watch any Law & Order, it's an episode when Chris Noth is on it

^ is that a site where you can watch shows legally? I'm a bit new to this 'watch TV on the net' thing... and it would make things much easier because we have such crap tv here sometimes...

Anyone know where you can watch scrubs for free on the net without downloading and legally?
They're all legal!! You'll just have to endure a commercial or 2.

That does look interesting! I hadn't heard of it before.

We watch LOST and House regularly.
And we both kinda watch a mix of comedies if they happen to be on when we feel like watching some TV. Our TV doubles as my husband's computer monitor, so if he's on the computer (which is often in the evenings) we don't watch TV. Some other things we check out from time to time are shows like Holmes on Homes, Dirty Jobs, and Myth Busters. Hoping to check out the new Night Rider that's just about to start. Fringe looks like something I would enjoy too, but I doubt my husband would. So we haven't checked it out.
THIS Night Rider???

II've still never seen 1 episode of Lost... is it a reality show?

I liked some episodes of Dirty Jobs too - oh some of those are BAD! I saw the one where the guy had to fix something in a big sewer area somewhere? He had to swim in it to fix something - put on a serious hasmat type suit w/ helmet thingy. Gruesome.

It's legal as far as I know. You're not downloading anything. You don't pay to watch network tv. Your're just watching content that's stored on a server. Now if the people who are hosting this stuff have obtained it illegaly, they will be the ones who get in trouble.

cool, I'll look into it... sometimes it's different for different countries (some of the BBC ones are only for the UK for eg.)

Oh right, I tell you what FHM stands for and I'll never hear the end of it. LOL Of course you were at the premiere of LB, a movie that atrociously bad only plays for one night. Did ya see Kirk Cameron? Or was he too ashamed to show up? LOL How did Michael York get dragged into this conversation? He did a stint on the Gilmore Girls, that's true. But so did Sebastian Bach, but we're not talking about Skid Row. LOL And Logan's Run was an awesome movie. Not as good as Luther or The Warriors, but still. LOL

Oh Nadiine, now I have to go and...

LOL, well OK, Baywatch was atrocious. But the original Night Rider was a fun show. I hope the new version is good too. There was a TV movie or pilot (not sure which) that I saw last year and it wasn't bad. Not sure if the one starting this week is the same thing or not.

DON'T watch it!! If you do, you'll become instantly addicted! It's definitely not a reality show. I don't watch too many of those. It's hard to describe what area it falls into. It's got lots of suspense, drama, action, adventure, romance, and some twists that kinda have to be called sci-fi because they're just different than you usually see in a TV drama. My husband does not care for dramas at all and hadn't watched any for years before we met. One day I was sick in bed and watching Lost, and he decided to come keep me company (OK, everybody say awwwwww!). After seeing one episode he was addicted. One of our local channels just started playing it again from the pilot four nights a week, so that's what we've been watching mostly. My husband even makes sure that he's all ready to watch it every night it's on. That's not like him at all! lol. I'm thoroughly enjoying watching it again from the beginning because there are so many details that hint to things in future episodes. It's fun to pick up on them the second time around.

I liked some episodes of Dirty Jobs too - oh some of those are BAD! I saw the one where the guy had to fix something in a big sewer area somewhere? He had to swim in it to fix something - put on a serious hasmat type suit w/ helmet thingy. Gruesome.
Oh I know, it can be horrible! My husband loves to watch it while he's eating dinner. Once he actually started gagging. I laughed and suggested maybe that's not the best show to watch while eating!

We haven't had broadcast TV or anything like that in our house for about 11 years. Now that my kids are older we started watching some shows on the internet by connecting the graphics card to the TV. I highly recommend this route, you don't end out watching a show you wouldn't normally watch (junk, immoral etc) just because your waiting to see the show that follows it in the next time slot. Also the commercial breaks, if any, last about 15-30 seconds.

We like the shows:
Psych
Chuck
Kitchen Nightmares
America's Toughest Jobs
The Office

We were watching Lost last season, but it's fallen into the same rut most long term serisous stories do by getting long and drawn out where each storyline takes eons to progress.... too much like a soap opera so I don't know if we'll bother again this year.

My kids love some of the old reruns that are online like the A Team, Alf and Battle Star Galactica ^_^

Anybody here watch How It's Made or Deadliest Catch?
My husband likes to channel surf during commercials, and if How It's Made is on, that's what he flips to every time. Then if it's really interesting, sometimes we forget we were watching something else on the other channel. LOL.

He's a spy - but he got what they call a 'burn notice'... he woke up in Miami and he's without a career.

So long story short, he's a professional spy that helps alot of locals & is now looking for the people who 'burned' him.

I think they play all the shows online if you want to catch the earlier seasons.
Let me find the link.

Sounds good, we'll have to check it out tomorrow. Our TV doens't go on until about 7pm and got jr's football game tonigh.. wooohoooo

My family loves "Deadliest Catch" also "Dirty Jobs", but we haven't found either online yet this year.

What is "How It's Made" ... sounds interesting.

How It's Made is a documentary type show, I guess is the best way to describe it. They take you to the factories where various things are made and show you how a product is made from start to finish. Things like: hearing aids, artificial eyes, dentures, chalkboards, charcoal briquettes, fire logs like Duraflame, mirrors, pianos, (an episode on which I saw the piano parts I sell on a piano that was being made) etc. I mean just everything you can imagine. And the items on the show vary greatly. The shows aren't themed. So you could watch a show where wetsuits are made and then learn how chalkboards or clothes hangers are made. It's really cool.
