It went very well. She's open about everything. When I mentioned what the Methodist church believes about Spiritual Gifts she immediately said, "Tongues?" I was like, "All of them, not just tongues." lol. I knew a lot of stuff before she told me but it was interesting. She said that she didn't want to force me but wanted me to think about joining the Methodist church. I was thinking, "No way sister. I'm Pentecostal and I'm not joining a liberal church like this." LOL. I didn't say it but I sure did think it. lol.
So she said, "Let's meet again after you come back from France." I was like, "Ok!" So we're meeting again but I have no idea what we're going to talk about. Oh! I know...the Supernatural! Yes, she's very open to the supernatural. It's a start. hahahaha.

Yes, I love to teach. Whether kids or adults, I just love to teach.

To read accounts of the origin of the Methodist church, it certainly seems like they were Spirit-filled and operated in all the gifts. I visited that church with my then fiance in the 70's, though, and it seemed like it was a "save yourself" theology with no power, and no move of the Holy Spirit. Now in the 0's it seems even further from the Lord.

My fiance became my husband, we've been married for more than 36 years, and we still both love the Lord. Over the years we have been part of many churches. Finally, we have a saying we admonish each other with: there are enough dead churches; we need to be part of something that is alive.

Today we go to a tiny church. Tiny--but mighty in the move of the Lord, and therefor growing all the time. People are hungry for the Lord, they want the truth that will set them free, not some watered down theology that isn't even consistent with the Word of God.

Just my thoughts.

Be blessed in the Lord today, Josh! I pray that our beloved Father will show you where He wants you, and that you will be blessed in every area of your life, and in all you do.

Oh, I was going to tell you all about a dilemma I'm having. I live in an apartment complex and a week or so ago a stray cat came and visited me on my back patio. She looked half starved and so I fed her. I could not resist. I'm a sucker for animals anyway and one who was so needy was really hard to ignore. Then a few days later I discovered that she had had kittens but as yet had not seen them. Well, that changed when yesterday all FOUR of her kittens showed up along with her! They look to be about six or seven weeks old. I was going to keep the mama kitty around and continue to feed her but now I'm not sure what to do with all of them. I cannot feed and take care of them all and I'm also concerned for the kitten's safety. I'm not sure what their fate would be if I called animal control... so I'm perplexed as to what to do. Any suggestions from anyone? Nothing spiritual at all about this post which is why I posted it in the fellowship forum.. but I know God cares about all His creatures. God bless.

This is almost exactly what the kittens look like with the exception of one... he is black. Adorable...but there are FOUR of them!!
