Have you ever googled yourself?

I frequently find myself resisting the temptation to use Facebook as a verb.

Oh, yes. I definitely do that. "Just Facebook it to me."

How I long for the day when I will be confident in saying that Facebook is used as a verb frequently enough by the general populace that I can actually use it that way in conversation.

and yes I have googled myself... but now to find me I have to google my screen name.... because my first and last name together are that of a writter of Christian non-Fiction (not me), a mountain climber dude(not me), and like 3 other ones with my exact first/last name.... and that's the shortened form (Tim not Timothy) the longer form gives me back geneology trees for several families with my common German last name.... *shrugs* price of having a Common First Name that's from the Greek....... so la vie.....

I haven't for awhile but I once did and found a woman in Ohio who raised horses for show. The story gets more weird.....about a year later, I met the woman's niece when I travelled to Ohio on business. I haven't yet met the woman who shares my name though. lol

Do any of you ever think of people that might have googled you and found these other people and thought that they were you? And I wonder too, why some of us find ourselves, and others don't. I guess it's kinda good that I can't find myself, but I wouldn't want people to think I had become a inappropriate content star model, even though she is kind of attractive, and has the same color hair as I do. lol

Apparently there is a youtube page ChristianDrew and if you type if your username on CF you will pretty much find YOU 100% of the time uh huh

My brother has a first name that could be used on either a male or female. I googled his name once and found a female with the same name in Washington State. The funny thing was that my brother ran cross country/track in high school and did pretty well and so did this girl in Washington.

My screen name is not unique to me. Apparently Maycontainnuts is a sports website, a cartoonist's website, a band, a guy that likes WoW, a gay guy in Canada, etc.

I haven't googled "HoosierCanuck" but I tried to use it for photobucket today and apparently someone else already has that name. freaky!!! lol
