Welcome to Barb's Cozy Corner #13​

I wanted to start my own little corner here on CF - a warm and friendly place to get together. ​

I hope that all of the wonderful friends I've made here at CF will come "sit a spell" and that many others I've never met will stop by so that we can get to know each other.​

Our youth group thought about going to that concert too but they are going to one in Parkersburg Friday and spending the night for a lock in.

We used two skillets, one was an iron skillet....
We put the oil in the pan...I used olive this time and floured the meat ...I put the seasonings in the flour...I quick fried the meat and put in in a roaster type pan ....I made gravy and poured it over the meat and let it bake slowly for about 2 hours....covered....It was good...

I don't think I've heard of them. Oh, from Man, WV...home of some of the worst roads in the US. LOL!

Yes, I've heard those roads are bad down there.

Hey, while I have a few ladies popping in let me get your opinion on something please.

I'm having a banquet for the ladies of my church in April. I've never decorated in Spring colors before so I'm looking forward to decorating with flowers. I'm hoping to find some brightly colored flower pots with live plants for the centerpieces. They will be door prizes.

I wanted something bright for the favors and also thought about seed packets to go along with the theme.

Tell me what you think of these (please).

Yes, but we won't stay for the whole lock in because we'll have a lot to do Saturday for the dinner.

Oh, I love those..They are so cute? I saw some bright green table coverings....Green also means growth....
I like them a lot BJ.....

Oh yeah? I didn't know that. There are 2 in Parkersburg, one across from the Salvation Army and one down near the mall.

I haven't been in there in a long time.
