I'm tired of winter...

Sorry if you are a winter fan. I'm not. It's so bad it's terrible. It's only about 1/3 over with and I am already ready for spring. I hate the whole "wintriness" of this season.

I love winter here. Keep in mind I live in southern Arizona, and our 'winter' is roughly equivlanet to early-mid fall in a northern state.

Winter is my favorite season. I love the cold. There is nothing better than going skating on a night when it is about zero degrees. There is sledding and pond hockey. Winter is so great.

I am ready for spring too although I'm happy that this week the highs are in the low 30s at least and not below zero wind chills like most of January.

Snowstorms. Avalanches. Giant man-eating rolling snowballs. Nature just seems so uninviting at this time of year.

Last summer I took a visit to one of my favorite childhood water holes. I had such fond memories. The other night I was dreaming about this same place and there was some loathsome creature under the water surface. I wouldn't even feel like going there now. What's up with that, winter?

I am not ready for the winter to end. I have not had the time or the energy this winter to enjoy one of those awesome, humbling winter mornings/afternoons when the sun is out and there are no clouds in the sky, and I would really like to.

Yeah, I'm with ya radhead. I've been beomoaning winter for a while. It's snowing right now. BOO!

What makes it worse is that it was 75 degrees and sunny yesterday! I wore short sleeves and flip flops and drove with my windows down

Only to be thrown into this CRAP the next day......

Living in the south, winters are not bad except for less "light" hours. I prefer it being colder than the humid hot weather we have.

Here in Florida we still have leaves falling off the trees (like it is fall in February). Today it is sunny and will probably get into the high 60's or low 70's.

Today it's currently 35f. Yesterday's high was about 46f. Tonight's low will be around 7f.

Mother Nature is going through Menopause...... lol
