Wow...I was seriously confused at last night's episode. Well, I was really only confused with the whole Matt/his dad/Nathan/Molly situation. I guess maybe I'm just slow or something...
What confused you about that?
I enjoyed last night's episode. No West or silly twins!

I thought it was interesting how Matt's dad can put people in nightmares, not to mention that Matt will have the same ability. I also find it interesting that Matt is the first of the Heroes we have seen that inherited the same talent as one of the parents (though, of course, we don't know what Mrs. Petrelli's or the late Mr. Petrelli's abilities are or if one of the two sons inherited it). But we do know that Claire and Micah have completely different abilities than their parents -- though, again, it appears that West could be another son of Nathan

I also thought it interesting that Peter learned lightning from the girl hunting for him -- not to mention that she seems to be a daughter of Bob's. We don't know that for sure, only that she appears to work for the company and that her dad is a high officer.

It appears she has had a previous dealing with Peter, otherwise he wouldn't know lightning. I also infer (not sure if correctly) that she (or someone in the company) locked him in the crate -- which is why she knew of the crate and to check the docks. Though there is also the question of how and why Peter lost his memory (the Haitian comes to mind, but he's no longer supposed to be helping the company) or why he was shipped in a container to Ireland.

Well, he could have just lost his memory from the jolt of him blowing up. I think that is what happened. I have not seen him use lightning like the girl did last night.. I know that the blue orbs coming from his hands are Ted's power under control. But if you read the graphic novels, he makes lightning come from his hands by thinking about Caitlin. What if she has a lightning power also... would make for a good chick on chick lightning cat fight...:)

I had thought that might be the case prior to last night, as well. However, there was a scene in her apartment where she definitely infers she has no similar power; combined with the fact that Elle (the Kristen Bell character) it would seem that has to be where Peter got the ability.

Also, I think it was fairly clear when Peter was working with Claude that his thinking of a person to spark an ability was more of a crutch than something that is needed to activate the power.

Agreed. I think that was when he was first getting his abilities, that he needed to "focus" on what he associated with the ability, which would obviously be the person. But now, seeing he has lost his memory, he obviously still can use the powers now as he needs them, for protection and whatever. I know alot of people are knocking this season, but I think it is very good.

Okay, okay...I've pondering about this off and on today and all it's coming together now. Lol. I finally get the whole situation with Matt and all.

I enjoyed last night's episode. No West or silly twins!

:amen: However...I did miss Sylar. I was quite disappointed in not seeing him in this past episode.

I was very glad that Nicki and Paulo, I mean Maya and Alejandro, were not on the show last night!

I am not liking the Hiro/Ando storyline at all. Way too expository.

I love Micah, and I thought Matt and Nathan and the nightmare man were awesome last night.

Why does everyone hate new characters? This happened on LOST and now it's happening on Heroes. I don't understand. I didn't see anything wrong with Nicki and Paolo (of course, the fans created such an outrage that the writers decided to kill them off) and I don't see anything wrong with West, Maya, and Alejandro.

I don't have a problem with new characters, per se. I like Monica a lot, she's one of my favorites now on Heroes.

My problem is when they bring in new characters and start shoving them in front of our faces non-stop. They did that with Nicki and Paolo, all of a sudden they were part of the conversations, going on adventures with the group, and it was just too much of them too soon.

With Maya and Alejandro, I'm already so sick of them because we had week after week of them on the run, Maya crying, people dying. It was like, enough already! It was a relief to not have to see them this week.

I do like Monica the best. Maya and Alejandro are ok IMO. Not sure exactly what part they will have to play, though.

What about Matt's father?

I think he might have made Nathan kill Nakamura and made Mrs Petrelli injure herself in the cell. He did get Nathan and Matt to fight each other. I think the mark on his picture was just a ruse to make Matt think he was a target.

The Peter thing is interesting. I'm not to sure about the idea of having to relearn what he can do, but I guess they had to tone him down somehow.

How would he know? Very easily via Molly, I think. He had plenty of time to prepare, and appears to be an extremely powerful telepath.
I agree.. I think that he is very strong. But his power is obviously way different than Matt's.
