I think it's interesting that we've seen more characters with powers just like other characters... Kensei having regenerative powers (and being a blonde just like.... hmmm ) and West, Claire's friend with flying powers (and brown hair just like... well now!)
Yes, his presence makes history come to pass. You also have to remember, that old Japanese legends are somewhat tall tales, and everything told ain't entirely as it actually happened. Kinda like Paul Bunyon..you know what I mean? And I think that Hiro is the "dragon" who teaches Kensei everything he knows.I hope the whole storyline with Kensei is not as transparent as it seems.
Will Hiro actually be the reason Kensei is a hero? Is it not that his presence will alter history but actually fulfill it? Could Hiro actually be the legendary Kensei himself?

interesting show last night, what did you guys think?? when they met up with syler on the road i was like NOOOO what the heck is going to happen next??? and then with matt's dad being the nightmare man... we'll see what happens!!!!
Cynical, but funny! I never watched the Mars show though. Yes, obviously his dad's powers are pretty potent, but I believe that all of their powers are way more than they realize. Remember last season, when Ted was imprisoned at the company, and HRG told him that he knew Ted could do more than Ted even knew? ANd he helped him create and EM pulse? I think that this is Peter's "lightning" power... just Ted's power under control.Maya could have easily killed Sylar/Gabriel, I think...but then, that would have ended the story. If Sylar gains Maya's power, he will be even more formidable!
Apparently Matt's dad (the nightmare man) has similar powers to Matt...though much more powerful, it seems.
Monica apparently has similar powers to Micah, in a way: Monica can duplicate things she sees on TV, and Micah can manipulate or fix the TV...or any device of technology, apparently, like a computer, etc.
What will become of Molly, who is apparently in some kind of coma?
The fact that Monica and her family are survivors of Katrina is somewhat interesting, I guess...
Ugh...I can't believe they're going to introduce "Veronica Mars" (Kristen Bell) as a character. Sure, she's pretty and all that, but I associate her too much with "Veronica Mars" to have her comfortably fit into "Heroes." Is she going to have detective powers or something? LOL! Maybe the following week, they should introduce Jennifer Love Hewitt and give her the power to communicate with ghosts! LOL! Sorry, I'm getting cynical now...
He does seem a little TOO perfect for Claire...I don't think West is all he seems. I think he knew about Claire before he saw her regen. There's something fishy with that boy.

That painting could mean anything. The man in the painting doesn't look like West. (The clothes and hair are different.) And, if it is, it could be that West and Claire find her dad together and West is comforting her.According to the painting, isn't West supposed to kill Claire's dad? And doesn't Claire's dad know that? And, when Claire's dad went to the sliding glass door, wasn't there evidence that West had been there, secretly watching and listening, and had then flown away? Obviously, Claire's dad knows what's going on, and I think West does too.
