• Gideon was afraid

• Rahab was a prostitute
• Jeremiah and Timothy were too young
• David had an affair and was a murderer
• Elijah was suicidal
• Isaiah preached naked
• Jonah ran from God
• Naomi was a widow
• Job went bankrupt
• Peter denied Christ
• The disciples fell asleep while praying
• Martha worried about everything
• The Samaritan woman was divorced (more than once)
• Zaccheus was too small
• Paul was too religious
• Timothy had an ulcer....

AND

• Lazarus was dead!!!!!!!!

..............no more excuses now. God can use you to your full potential. Besides you aren't the message, you are the messenger.

That is something that has bothered me about the church as a whole. If someone sins & fails they are often cast off as a has been & the body can no longer use them.
Almost every person written about in the Bible has major flaws like us in present day.

exactly! And the church unwittingly casts aside the very ones whom the bible seems to focus most of it's time on. In a biblical perspective? It's our imperfections that qualify us. When the church casts aside the "immoral" I'm sure that's the same persecution the apostles endured by the religious leaders of THEIR day.

Two of the greatest people in the old testament were murderers. Moses and David. Not to mention a ton of others.
