Hello everyone

Can you please join me in prayers. I think Im becoming what I never imagined to be.

I find Church as a routine and just something that I have to do, I need to find that passion again.

I kinda feel totally wrong about myself, I dont get the zeal to buy new things, clothes for myself, its like, I dont care about me anymore. I have no clue what's going on with my money all I know is Im trying to meet other people's needs but not my own.

I look like a high school person who is still depending on others to keep going. My salary is great and I live by my own, but Im not feeling it. Lately I dont even want to meet new friends or just people because I look totally worse.

Encouragement and verses and books referals to help. Testimonies too.

I'm praying for you,because I know how God cares for us when we go through times like you are going through.Sometimes we get to thinking that He does'nt,but the truth is that He does.He is constant in His love and with us at all times.

'The Lord is near to all who call on Him.'(Psalm 145:18)
In times when we may FEEL that He is distant,because of physical or psychological condition,depression or illness,or a lack of spiritual desire,He can draw near,as we call on Him.

It has been said that,'sometimes God hides Himself simply to increase our longing for Him.' But He says,'I have loved you with an everlasting love and I have drawn you with the loving cords of kindness.I will build you again..(Jer.31:1-3)

The Psalmist had such times.On one occasion he was so down that he cried,'Why are you cast down O my soul?Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God,for I will yet praise Him,my Saviour and my God.'(Psalm43:5)

So keep hoping in God,Tangi,because you are going to come through this,as you do. Confide in Him and trust,my friend and He will help you.

Heavenly Father,
We pray that you will bless Tangi and help her to trust in Your eternal and unchanging love. We thankyou that You are steadfast and faithful. We thank you for our Lord Jesus Christ,who endured all for us, when He died on the cross for our sin. He has taught us to trust You in every experience of life.

Help Tangi to trust and hope in You and by the power of Your Holy Spirit,come and restore her confidence and passion in You.Restore in her that first love for you and zeal for Your House. Give her that zest and energy that she needs in every area of her life. May her heart and mind be guarded and kept in Your peace. Meet every need according to Your riches in glory.

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt...I know exactly how you feel.

I so often questioned our purpose here on Earth, and the meaning of going to church, and I've wondered what difference it makes if we just spend all of our time at home rather than being a social butterfly. I have thought so many different things, but what I wasn't thinking was how God viewed our lives. I wasn't "looking through heaven's eyes."

I came to many realizations. Here's just a few:

1. Who are we--the creation--to question God--the creator? We exist for Him because He created us not the other way around. If we saw ourselves as God saw us, we would never see our blemishes, or our stains, because we are washed clean in the blood of Jesus. All the bad feelings we have about ourselves do not come from God. So, if these feelings aren't prompted by God, where else could they come from but Satan? Am I going to be one to allow Satan to have this power over me? NOO!!

2. The people God puts in our lives are special. God doesn't exist for any one person, but all for the Father. The connections He makes through us are for His purposes not ours (like our family members, friends, brothers/sisters in Christ at our church, and basically everyone we come into contact with). He lines this up so that we will be able to reach each other in ways that others can't. Jesus didn't hang around a few number of people his entire life. He spread out his arms and beckoned everyone who would listen. If he stayed within the same group how would his ministry go out to all corners of the Earth? He embraced new people, and showed them love, and we are called to do the same.

3. Church is God's house. It is not only a builiding, it is the body of Christ. We should not go to church to get something out of it. We should go to give. By giving, God makes sure we get much more out of it. Church is a good thing because it a place of diverse believers gathering to unify and lift each other up. It is made of different parts, but none should be stressed as being more important than any other part. The church functions so we can edify each other and lift each other to greater heights in God that we couldn't have done by ourselves. The reason we can't do that by ourselves is because God ordains us all to have different gifts and talents---all to be used to glorify His name and bring not only ourselves but the whole church body closer to Him.

John 15:9-17

Father, I pray that You will see Tangi's, pain. That You will recognize her hurting and You will lay a hand of grace and peace over her. We believe in Your power, God, and we know this is nothing You cannot handle. God, stop the powers of Satan to bring Tangi down. The tricks of the enemy has no power over the blood of the Lamb. Show Tangi the love You demonstrated when You created her, and when You laid down Your life to save her. Thank you, Jesus for your blessing and the sacrifices you made to show us your love. In Jesus name I pray for all these things. Amen.

i agree with the prayers that have already been prayed.
God is good and although you feel a certain way, He is not changed towards you and is ready to help. the Word tells us that Christ feels everything that we feel and that we can come to Him at anytime, (Heb.4:14-16) even when you don't feel it, tell Him that. He will not be suprised or offended at you, because He can handle it. He knew that you would be in this place, today. the fact that you know to ask for help shows that you do have passion for Him. may i offer a prayer?
Lord Jesus look on tangi, you see the condition of her heart, her soul and her mind. God we ask that you would lift this heavy burden and all things associated with it. Lord let her see You standing in her midst, let her rest in you and feel your presence again. we ask that you would lift this depression from her and let her feel the joy and peace that you bring. send people her way to bless her and not make demands on her, those who will love and not judge her. let her hear a word, a song, see a picture, smell a flower, do something that will speak directly to her spirit and destroy the darkness that is trying to overtake her. we thank you that no weapon formed against her will prosper, and that she has the victory in you! now God we ask that you would lead her beside still waters, send the help that she needs and that right early, In Your Name
