Is the laughter pill for everybody, or is that for him only.
Some seem to force it out...or is that the way to do it........
Only Rodney brings this dimension it seems....
My wife and I traveled to Toronto in June 2000.
We were there for four days. No conference. I can't even remember who was speaking at the regular four days of service there.
We went to one of the "day" services. And were treated simply to a couple of the Ministry school students.
At ten years of marriage, I had never seen my wife given to holy laughter. She is a tremendous intercessor and visionary. She is not given to emotionalism but loves to be in God's Presence. Something very interesting happened that day.
When she was prayed for, she flopped to the ground. She was just saying over and over, "Oh Jesus. Oh Jesus."
And her arm was moving up and down (similar to playing a guitar). Overall this lasted about three hours...
The day meeting ended and we walked down the stairs out to the car. That's when it hit her.
She literally stopped walking, doubled over, and laughed hysterically. She would laugh for a couple of minutes at a time. Stand upright and say, "Oh Jesus. Oh Jesus." and had the biggest smile on her face.
So, I did what any conservative husband would do. I took her to that big mall in Toronto. Through the parking lot, through the mall, while at McDonald's eating, her right arm was jerking and occasionally she would burst out in laughter, followed by "Oh Jesus. Oh Jesus."
She was revived and renewed. And she felt the love and the joy of the Lord.
I believe the laughter to come as God touches His people.
I've been in many meetings with Rodney, and there were plenty of times that laughter was not evident in the meetings.
There were also times when laughter would come into the church there in Tampa, and Rodney was not in the services at all. I've seen it during the worship when there are people who are open to the Holy Spirit.
