In many ways, 9/11 was another Pearl Harbor, in which Islam declared war against the United States.

Like the Japanese after Pearl Harbor, the Muslims cheered after 9/11. But I wonder what would happen if the Muslim fanatics had a conversation with some Japanese who lived through World War II. They would be reminded that a few years after Pearl Harbor came Hiroshima and Nagasaki. America is slow to anger, but once its anger is stoked, its wrath is fearsome to behold.

I'm afraid I have seen absolutely no proof whatsoever that the religion of Islam preaches, nor practices peace. Not even anywhere in their entire history!

It is hard to love an enemy that is blowing up children, women, everyone indiscriminately. Not that you aren't right, but I think this will never happen until Jesus reigns.

Muslim Teachings

http://www.islamia.com/the_life_of_compassion_and_love.htm

"The deep human response for which Allah Most Merciful calls is the commitment to justice that transforms daily life into continual acts of kindness and generosity toward all persons, regarding them as one intimate family...Compassionately warn your people that they are turning away from the Source of Love by performing actions insensitive to the dignity of any being, and that only constant remembrance of the Source of Being can develop true sensitivity." (16:89-91)

"Please encourage those who aspire to Islam to be gentle and selfless, to turn whole heartedly toward the Source of Being, and to call out to Allah Most Merciful every morning and evening, longing only to gaze directly into the Face of Love." (18:27-31)

Buddhist Teaching

Once a very old king went to see an old hermit who lived in a bird's nest in the top of a tree, "What is the most important Buddhist teaching?" The hermit answered, "Do no evil, do only good. Purify your heart." The king had expected to hear a very long explanation. He protested, "But even a five-year old child can understand that!" "Yes," replied the wise sage, "but even an 80-year-old man cannot do it.”

At the very heart of every true religion is Love of the Creator and Love for our brothers and sisters. People can mess anything up, were real good at that...

Sorry, but I trust the books by Muslim women that I have read more than any website, plus the proof I see in the world, and all the specials that have been on Discovery Times and National Geographic,as I said I have seen absolutely no proof in the real world of ANY peaceful tendencies. No love. No tolerance. I didn't say anything about Buddhisism. They are not committing these atrocities in 32 countries around the world!

Religion of Peace?: Islam's War Against the World by Gregory M. Davis

Editorial Reviews
Book Description
Virtually every contemporary Western leader has expressed the view that Islam is a peaceful religion and that those who commit violence in its name are fanatics who misinterpret its tenets. This widely circulated claim is false.
Relying primarily on Islam's own sources, Religion of Peace? Islam's War Against the World demonstrates that Islam is a violent, expansionary ideology that seeks the subjugation and destruction of other faiths, cultures, and systems of government. Further, it shows that the jihadis that Westerners have been indoctrinated to believe are extremists, are actually in the mainstream.

Let me ask the doubters here a question. It's an honest question.

How many people must Muslim jihadists kill before you acknowledge there'e a problem with Islam? How high does the body count have to go?

1,000?

10,000?

100,000?

a million?

The same as the number of Jews killed during the Holocaust?

How many countries have to be attacked by Islamic insurgents or terrorists? One? Two? Five? Ten? Twenty? Fifty?

What would it take to make you acknowledge that the atrocities committed by Muslims are not "isolated incidents" or "extremist acts" but actually part of a systemic, larger problem?

Well,

For a start you would have to remove the knowledge I have from post-graduate studies in Islam, you'd have to kill the Muslims I know and you'd have to remove the books in my library.

You didn't answer the question. So am I to understand that, no matter how many people were killed by Muslim jihadists, you would still refuse to acknowledge Islam had a problem?

What if the death toll reached six million? You probably acknowledge there's a problem with Nazism, right? So why does Islam get a special pass in your mind?

Oh, I already acknowledge there's a very definite problem with American foreign policy...I am on record here as condemning the U.S. invasion of Iraq. I think it was unnecessary, idiotic, and a colossal waste of resources. Even if one accepts we had a burning need to liquidate Saddam Hussein--I don't--there were ways we could have accomplished that and killed a lot fewer people along the way.

Yes, and the difference is that they want to control the world and they won't stopped until they are killed. The number of mosques in the U.S. is increasing. Its like cancer cells in a human body - unless its killed using overkill to do it a person will die. I have had cancer myself and I'm a surviver because of Gods grace.

Beware trying to simplify a very complex problem. Muslim women and Muslim men are going to have to address the issue of womans rights and womens dignity. In my opinion it's a huge problem for the religion of Islam.

At the same time I think it's important not to confuse the subjegation of women with a willingness to commit terror crimes.

It does seem to me (a Pagan) that Islam is frought with contridictions, I don't know how Islam is reconcile it's medeval and middle-eastern mindset with the more beautiful parts of it's religion. It seems to me that Christianity has undergone a simmilar, albeit easier transition... I don't see why Islam would be incapable of doing the same.

How can you say you do not see peaceful tendancies in a religion of 1.5 billion people? It's easy to focus on the 1 in 1000 who might willing to commit terror crimes and ignore the other 999 in 1000 that does not. Were those numbers correct there would still be 1.5 million terrorists, and I suspect that number is a little high.

The reason I linked the Budhist was because I felt it important to underline the basis of true religion. Love for God and Love for our fellow Man.

Sorry, but I trust the books by Muslim women that I have read more than any website, plus the proof I see in the world, and all the specials that have been on Discovery Times and National Geographic,as I said I have seen absolutely no proof in the real world of ANY peaceful tendencies. Lets get back to the Imams.

They were switching seats, prayed before getting on the plane, and then stood and prayed again after boarding, several of them asked for seat belt extenders,
and were talking of Osama Bin Laden, their seating?
2 in front, 2 in the middle, and 2 in the back.
If the crew and passingers had reason to doubt the safety of the plane, they must take action.
The OP is correct, if they acted suspiciously, and we back away from questioning them, then the next time, they may be terrorists.
If we allow anyone to silence peoples fears with the threat of a lawsuit, then the terrorists have anther obstacle out of their way.
If they wanted to blend in why did they stand and pray?

I welcome this suit. Because it will show people that these Imam were not acting right. And the investigation
that followed was warranted.
A muslim praising Bin laden is as bad as saying bomb in an airport, IMO.
