  1. † Psalms 114 - The Power Of God In His Deliverance Of Israel

Why Did You Flee? by Sons of Korah Psalms 114 (KJV) The Power of God in His Deliverance of Israel 1 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language; 2 Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion. 3 The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back. 4 The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs. 5 What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back? 6 Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams;...
  2. Very Sad Today

I am very sad right now. And I have a persuasive speech to give, but I can’t settle on a good topic. I feel very sad and condemned and non-elect or unsaved. I have a hard time with Numbers 7, or putting it off. I feel like too many bad thoughts are sin, like the verses about people who say evil things about God. Thoughts about the beast and it’s number or mark, and thoughts about renouncing and things like that, and feeling like I have a lot of doubt in my heart and mind. I feel like I just...
  3. Wonderfully Saved

I was 14 years of age when I attended a Youth event at the Pentecostal AOG church in Hemel Hempstead in April 1965. The popsinger Terry Dene was singing and witnessing for Jesus. Dennis Robson a gifted Piano Accordianist was the preacher,' (John 14:1-6) 'Jesus said,"I am the Way,the Truth and the Life'. That night I publicly confessed Jesus Christ as my Saviour and LORD. My life began to radically change. I was given a new life in Christ!
  4. All Depends

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed (John 8:36 - KJV) Thirsty deer drink deep. I hunt for hope that I have, drink from it again. Joy this morning shines, the glitter of glory stays. Pondered Word casts light. Instances erupt, minutes add testimony of my acts and thoughts. All depends on God, Who He is and acts of pow'r. Communion thus trusts. Freedom thrusts me on, presence predicts obedience like love, affection.
  5. † Psalms 52 - The End Of The Wicked And The Peace Of The Godly

Why Do You Boast? By Sons of Korah Psalms 52 (KJV) The End of the Wicked and the Peace of the Godly To the Chief Musician. A Contemplation of David when Doeg the Edomite went and told Saul, and said to him, “David has gone to the house of Ahimelech.” 1 Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually. 2 The tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully. 3 Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak...
  6. Let Judgment Run Down As Waters

GOD'S JUSTICE Let Judgment Run Down As Waters 21 I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies. 22 Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts. 23 Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols. 24 But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream. —Amos 5:21-24
  7. Lord Bless You [vs] God Bless You

I said "God bless you" to a man in passing today. Then paused and realized I should have said "Lord bless you" Lord bless you > God bless you, so that the person you are blessing in the street knows you are a Christian and that you mean to bless him/her in the name of Jesus Christ and not in the name of any old no-name brand god/man made conception... 8. Fill My Cup, Lord By Angie Primm

Lord Jesus, fill us up with Your Holy Spirit so that we may live a life that pleases You. Teach us, O Lord, how to love others as God loves us. God's will be done. In Jesus' name. Amen. Fill My Cup, Lord by Angie Primm John 4:4-26 (KJV) 4 And he must needs go through Samaria. 5 Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. 6 Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on...
  9. Forgiveness By Matthew West

32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. —Ephesians 4:32 ††† Forgiveness by Matthew West LYRICS It's the hardest thing to give away And the last thing on your mind today It always goes to those who don't deserve It's the opposite of how you feel When the pain they caused is just too real It takes everything you have to say the word... 10. Bad Parents?

It seems like most people my age that I know well who are good people have horrible parents or guardians. I myself have bad parents. Sometimes when I see someone with good parents and a good loving family I almost don't believe it because the idea of having loving, supportive, godly parents seems like a complete myth. No one is perfect of couse but I just see so many bad parents out there. I can count on one hand the amount of people I know who have good parents. I just wish we all had...
  11. His Righteousness Remains Forever

GOD'S JUSTICE His Righteousness Remains Forever 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: 9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. 10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness). —2 Corinthians 9:8-10 (KJV)
  12. Taking Up The Cause Of Justice

GOD'S JUSTICE Taking Up The Cause Of Justice 15 Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the Lord saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment. 16 And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him. —Isaiah 59:15-16
  13. Testimony

Dear Heavenly Father, I bind and rebuke all evil things and the devil's works away from the Body of Christ, and I claim peace of mind, heart, body, and soul, and healings for all who need them, Isaiah 53:5, But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquity, the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed, In Jesus Name, I pray Amen. I was listening to Klove today, and one of the people said Today was Make a Difference Monday, And I...
  14. Faith Alone A Reformation Invention?

Apparently not. There are claims that Luther and the Reformers created the idea of Sola Fide or Faith Alone. Below are links to Church father (some doctors of the church) homilies (commentaries) on the various works of the apostles (Acts, Romans, Ephesians and 2nd Corinthians). More will be added as time permits. These are links to discussion threads here at CF.com. To avoid the usual 'internet cowboy' quoting out of context (which is always a challenge and in most cases a valid one) I...

GOD'S JUSTICE God Shows Mercy To The Poor 27 Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity. —Daniel 4:27

  18. God Will Judge The World In Righteousness

GOD'S JUSTICE God Will Judge The World 7 But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment. 8 And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness. 9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. —Psalms 9:7-9
  19. Some Are So Ignorant

Below is what I just copied from an Internet news article: Miami Congressional Candidate Says She's Been on Alien Spacecraft Miami Congressional Candidate Says She's Been on Alien Spacecraft she says "I personally am a Christian and have a strong belief in God, I join the majority of Americans who believe that there must be intelligent life in the billions of planets and galaxies in the universe." 20. Judgment And Righteousness

GOD'S JUSTICE Judgment And Righteousness 1 The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved. 2 The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people. 3 Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy. 4 The king's strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob. —Psalms 99:1-4 (KJV)
